And finally Moto G 2nd generation users can Install Cyanogenmod 12 Android 5.0.2 on their Smartphone . This is a new build in which all most every thing is working ! It is now ready for day to day use ! In this build all things are working except GPS ! also many things are added on this build .

Hence Android 5.0 Lollipop is officially announced for Moto G 2nd Generation but Cyanogenmod os seems to be best among all the official builds !

How to Install Cyanogenmod 12 on Moto G 2nd Gen XT1068 -


Step 1.Install custom recovery -

Use this guide - How To Install Official TWRP ( Touch Recovery ) On Moto G 2014 [ Lollipop Compatible ]

Step 2.Copy the rom to your external sd

Step 3.Boot into recovery mode 


Step 4.wipe davlik cache,data 

Step 5.Select Install zip from Sdcard and select cm12 zip

Step 6.Install gapps

  7. i cant copy the specified zip file completely to my device. The copying gets over as soon as the bar reaches the half. and when i double click on the copied file it starts to copy again! what is happening? please find a solution ASAP !!
