Android 8.0 Oreo Software update would be coming soon to both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

Just a few days back we reported that Samsung has started working on Android 8.0 Oreo updates for the Galaxy S8 Phones. Reportedly, the Oreo firmware version could be G950FXXU1BQI1 on the Galaxy S8, and G955FXXU1BQI1 on the Galaxy S8+.

Now, the Galaxy S8 (Non-Plus) variant has been spotted on Geekbench running the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. That means Oreo update for the Galaxy S8(s) is around the corner.

With Android 8.0 Oreo, you'll get new Settings and Notification panel UI, latest features including Picture in Picture (PIP), Adaptive icons, Autofill, Notification timeout, and new emojis.

That said, there's no exact date on when Samsung will be rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo for the duo Galaxy S8(s). We will let you know once the update is out.
