Motorola Edge/Edge+ Bug fixes and improvements

Lenovo has released its pocket friendly flagship device which was named as Motorola

edge+. After a lot of research which was done by the company about the requirements,

costs and technology Lenovo have released its edge+ phone in April 2020.


Immediately after it the company have launched its base model which is named as Motorola

Edge which was much more budget friendly smartphone released for the people.

Unfortunately, with the difference in price range some of the specifications were also cut off

from this device.


But after the smartphones were released, there were some issues with the screen of Edge

smartphones. Company have tried to resolve these issues by providing the smartphones

with different updates but this also doesn’t work.


After the android 11 update there were some of the performance issues faced by the users

of the Edge devices like screen animation lagging, long waits during the app launch and

many more bugs and issues.


The company has released different updates for both the edge series smartphones for fixing
the issues. Some of the issues were fixed but not all with the release of this update. The
version Edge plus got the update version RPB31.Q1-19-58-26 which can be downloaded at
Verizon US. Also, for Motorola Edge RPDS31.Q4U-39-26-4-4 which can be downloaded.

It seems that All Google Pixel users from Canada is getting a new Software update, which includes security update, bug fixes and two new "Moves".

The two new "Moves" includes, Double-tap to check phone and Lift to check phone (Just like Moto Display). 



The update costs 261MB and has a build no. NPF26J. This seems to be an experimental update and will be rolled out globally very soon.

As rumored earlier, LG has finally started pushing out Android 7.0 Nougat update for Korean LG G5, while the LG G5's at other regions will be getting this new update very soon.

According to LG, Android 7.0 Nougat will hit LG G5 devices in multiple regions which includes the America, Asia and other markets where the phone was launched.



Comparing other Smartphone companies, LG, Motorola and HTC has making good progress regarding Software updates. Unlike Samsung which is lagging behind!

Google Pixel and Pixel XL to receive guaranteed Android updates till October 2018


Google's new Pixel and Pixel XL which comes with Android 7.1 will be the first to get Latest Android updates until October 2018.



According to Google's 'Check & update your Android version' support page, the Google Pixel and Pixel XL is guaranteed to receive Android updates until October 2018 i.e. 2 years, while the same will get security patches for at least 3 years from when the device first became available, or at least 18 months from when the Google Store last sold the device, whichever is longer.




Here's the actual statement-



Pixel phones get the latest version of Android directly from Google.
If you bought your device from the Google Store, updates will typically reach your device within 2 weeks. If you bought your device from your mobile operator or somewhere else, updates may take longer.
Pixel phones get Android version updates for at least 2 years from when the device became available on the Google Store. After 2 years, we can't guarantee additional updates.
Pixel phones get security patches for at least 3 years from when the device first became available, or at least 18 months from when the Google Store last sold the device, whichever is longer.

OnePlus 3 Gets new Update: Brings More Pain than relief



Recently OnePlus rolled out new update to fix the most annoying "Auto-Restart" Bug and to improve Call Quality, But seems that theis new 26MB update did more harm than good.




Accordingly, After Installing this new update, Users are reporting several issues including-




  • Android Pay Stopped working
  • Front-Camera remains unfocused
  • Doze Not working properly
  • Signal Drop from 4G to 3G to 2G

However There is a temporary fix for the Signal Drop. You can lock in an LTE signal on your phone by opening the dialer, tapping on *#*#4636#*#* and opening Phone Information. Click on Preferred network type and select LTE only.

OxygenOS 3.2.0 Rollout stopped Due to some issues

It's been 2 days since OnePlus started rolling out The OxygenOS 3.2.0 for OnePlus 3 , Stating that "This will be an incremental rollout. We should reach 100% coverage in the next 48 hours or so. " 



Now , OnePlus has stopped the Rollout of OxygenOS 3.2.0 for OnePlus 3 . Accordingly Due to some reports of issues while upgrading, OnePlus have temporarily stopping the rollout to investigate. 




Though , You can still Update your OnePlus 3 to OxygenOS 3.2.0 manually by using our Guide and Ota Download zip .
