Update - Motorola Mobility isn’t going away !

"Motorola" The brand name will be soon phased out by Lenovo. As Lenovo actually wants to unify the Products into one name.

Lenovo will be the company name on Motorola phones in the very near future ...

Accordingly the next Motorola Flagships will be called as " Lenevo Moto G Alpha " istead of " Motorla Moto G Alpha " . Motorola will launch Alpha series according to leaked Info , Read full news - Here .




Reports shows that Motorola M logo will be still used in 2016 Motorola Smartphones but the Smartphones will be called " Lenevo Moto " . ( May be they will also remove M logo in future ) .

Motorola Mobility continues to exist as a Lenovo company and is the engineering and design engine for all of our mobile products. However, for our product branding we will utilize a dual brand strategy across smartphone and wearables going forward using Moto and Vibe globally. “Motorola” hasn’t been used on our products since the launch of the original Moto X in 2013.

Remix Os to bring Multi-Window Android Os to PC and MAC

I always wanted to Install Android as an OS on my Desktop ( And Dual-Boot it with Windows ) , But now i can !



Jide Technology has released Remix OS 2.0 which will be available from 12th January as free Download . The Os will run on majority of Intel and AMD devices such as PC and Mac.

• About Jide Technology -

The company which was founded by three Google ex-employees . They has developed Remix OS and thanks to their partnership with the Android-x86 project which enables Remix os to Run on Any PC regardless any major Specification .

• About Remix Os -

Remix Os is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop and will get upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow Soon . The Os will come with Google Play services embedded and Users can install any Application on their Remix OS .



The apps and Games can be used in Multiple windows letting users to use Multi-Window feature .

Moto G 3rd Gen ( AKA Moto G 2015 ) is finally getting Official Android 6.0 Marshmallow update . If you are a Moto G 3rd Gen user and want to update to Marshmallow then you can follow below steps .

[OTA] How to update Moto G 3rd Gen XT1543 to Official  Marshmallow -

Note - This will only work on XT1543 2GB Brazil !

Step 1. Download the OTA update zip from below

Step 2. Reboot your Smartphone .

Step 3. Go to Settings > About Phone > System updates .

Step 4. You will get a Notification of  " New System update available " .

Step 5. Select " I'm In " and download the update and Install it .

Or

Step 1. Download the OTA update zip from below

Step 2. Boot to Stock Recovery mode

Step 3. Go to apply update from Sdcard

Step 4. Select The zip .

Step 5. Install it .

Finally Your Moto G 3rd Gen is updated to official Marshmallow .

OnePlus One getting New Software update with embedded Cortana

New Software update is now rolling out for OnePlus One . You will find Microsoft's Cortana virtual assistant embeded after updating OnePlus One to Cyanogen Os 12.1.1  .



Cyanogen has just replaced Google Now with an alternative solution and that's Microsoft's virtual assistant - Cortana !

Cortana is already available for many platforms , But it will provide more access to Cyanogen os .



Moreover The new Cyanogen os update will allow user to use the Advanced "Hey Cortana" voice Command .

The update is of 68.8 MB and is now available for OnePlus One users .

Previously we got to know that Nokia is working on Nokia C1 ( Android and Windows ) . Nokia C1 will be launched in 2016 according to leaked information .

Now a weibo user leaked the images of Cancelled Nokia's Smartwatch , which was meant to be launched soon !

This watch was cancelled due to some issue , but we never know what Nokia comes up with in 2016 .
