OnePlus 3/3T won’t get any major OS update after Android O

We all know that OnePlus is one of the fastest when it comes to updating it's flagship Smartphones to the latest Android OS. Additionally OxygenOS's stock-like interface has never taken too long to update.

OnePlus has reportedly confirmed that the "Flagship Killer" OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T won't be getting any major OS updates after Android O. OnePlus 3/3T are one of the best Smartphones of the year 2016 and there's no excuse to drop support for a device this soon. Not cool, OnePlus.

That said, Google might unveil the final Android O this month. There's no information regarding when OnePlus will be rolling out the final Android O for its devices.

Along with the Android 7.0 Nougat, Google also introduced a new update system that allows users with no "Updating Android" screens delaying the initial boot.

According to the new reports from XDA, Motorola is the first OEM to actually implement A/B partition system for Seamless System Updates.

Recently, the Moto Z2 Force got a new update and XDA Team discovered that it was having a familiar screen from his Pixel usage that mentioned the update was installing in the background.
