Motorola has already started working on Android 8.0 Oreo for eligible Moto devices and today we want to take a look at everything we know about the Moto devices Android 8.0 Oreo update and its release as we push deeper into the year.

Android 8.0 Oreo for the Motorola devices (Changes and Features)

Apart from the Android 8.0 Oreo Goodies including new Settings and Notification panel UI, Picture in Picture (PIP), Adaptive icons, Autofill, Notification timeout, Motorola might also add several new features to the latest software update.

The Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Moto Smartphones may bring new Moto Key application that let's you securely save passwords, Moto Alexa, and new Moto Live Stream.

Recently we spotted on Geekbench that Motorola is already testing Android 8.0 Oreo on the Moto Z Play. Motorola might begin rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo Soak Tests for the Moto Z Play users enrolled for MFN (Motorola Feedback Network) pretty soon.

Motorola has started sending out Android Oreo Soak Test invitations to the Moto Z users enrolled for Motorola Feedback Network. Android 8.0 Oreo Beta may hit the Moto Z within next 48 hours.

Android 8.0 Oreo for other Motorola devices?

We haven't seen any sign of the Android 8.0 Oreo update for any other Motorola device apart from the one mentioned above.

The Moto devices likely to get Android 8.0 Oreo includes Moto X4, Moto Z2 Force, Moto Z2 Play, Moto Z, Moto Z Force, Moto Z Droid and Z Force Droid, Moto Z Play, Moto G5s Plus, Moto G5s, Moto G5 Plus, Moto G5, and Moto G4 Plus.
