Moto Z2 specs revealed by AnTuTu
As you all know, Motorola is hosting an event "Motorola is back" on June 27, where it is likely to reveal the new Moto Z and Moto Z Force with dual-camera setup.

While we have already seen the leaked renders of the upcoming Moto Z2, the device has been run through the AnTuTu benchmark test. As a result, AnTuTu was able to post and confirm the specs for the handset.

From the listing we can tell you that, the Second Generation Moto Z will be called Moto Z(2), which was rumoured earlier as well. The device will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chipset with Adreno 540 GPU, 5.5" QHD (2560 x 1440) display. Under the hood you will find 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage. A 12MP + 12MP Dual camera setup on the rear, 5MP to the front and Android 7.1.1 will come pre-installed.

The Moto Z2 is expected to come with metal back and usual 16 magnetic pins to connect the Moto Mods. Motorola might also launch few new Moto Mods along with the Moto Z2 and Moto Z2 Force. That said, we don't know how much will the Moto Z2 cost, but as compared to the Moto Z2 Play cost, don't expect it to be cheap.

Motorola sends out invites for June 27 event; Moto Z and Moto Z Force in Question

Motorola sends out invites for June 27 event; Moto Z and Moto Z Force in Question
Motorola has sent out media invites for the event to be held on 27.06.17 at 19:00, but it did not states which smartphone they are going to launch. Motorola has a knack of teasing smartphones ahead of their official launch, and they are doing the same this time as well.

The Invite shows that the Hellomoto girl is holding a slim Dual-camera Smartphone. The invite also states that Motorola is back, and perhaps this is a reference to the old Motorola that customers knew and loved before the Lenovo buyout.

Motorola is due to launch five smartphones including the Moto G5s series, Moto X (2017), and the Moto Z2 lineup. That said, the upcoming smartphone may be one from the Moto Z2 lineup.

Maybe Motorola is looking to announce the Moto Gs series, or it maybe the Moto X (2017). That said, nothing is known for now from the company, and Motorola will tease it in upcoming days ahead of the launch, which will give a clear idea about what they are going to launch in the country.

Motorola is Working on the Moto Z2 Since Ages Because it Was Benchmarking in Geekbench Since August 2016

Motorola is Working on the Moto Z2 Since Ages Because it Was Benchmarking in Geekbench Since August 2016
Motorola is working on various new smartphones for 2017 and one of them would be the Moto Z2 whose render was leaked recently showing off the design. Incidentally, the render was the first leak about the Moto Z2, which also confirmed its existence.

It appers like Motorola is working on the phone from August 2016 because a smartphone with XT1650 has been benchmarked in Geekbench since that month. There are numerous listings of the phone with a quad-core Snapdragon 821 chipset on board.

However, a listing on January 21, 2017 was benchmarked with Snadragon 835 chip and it achieved 1930 and 9207 single-core and multi-core scores respectively. The phone will have 4GB of RAM and boots Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.

The listing seems to be an unreal one but there's the fact that it was benchmarked with the latest chip should not be taken off. More details will be surfaced online in coming days.

Motorola Moto Z2 Play Grey Color Variant Along With Style Mods Leak Online

Last month, we saw a render of the Moto Z2 Play is Crown Gold color, and now we have a render of the Lunar grey color variant of the same Z2 Play along with its Style Mods. As seen with the Moto Z Play, the Z2 Play will also get style mods in five colors.

The Moto Z2 Play won't feature drastic changes from the Moto Z Play because Motorola promised that the Moto Mods will fit their devices for the next two years.

Not only in the form of design, the device won't feature any drastic hardware changes as well. The phone will feature the same 5.5-inch display with increased brightness levels. The Snapdragon 626 will power the phone, but this time around there will be 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage.

The Z2 Play will use the same camera sensor as the Moto G5 Plus along with 5MP front-facing camera with dual tone LED flash. The battery size may also be trimmed down to 3000mAh, which will be a huge downgrade.
