Samsung has finally started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for its Galaxy A5 (2017). For now, the update is only rolling out in Russia, but it's likely coming soon to other regions.
The Android 7.0 Nougat for the Galaxy A5 (2017) brings a newer user interface similar to the one found in the Galaxy S8, a slightly different version of Multi Window mode, enhanced notifications, Samsung Pass, and improved Always On Display functionality. If you haven't received the update yet, Just go into the settings, Software update, and then hit the Download updates manually button. The Galaxy A5 (2017) will feature similar specs as the A7 (2017), except for a smaller battery i.e. 3,000mAh and a smaller display (5.2 inches) while the Galaxy A3 (2017) has a 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a 1.6GHz octa-core processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, a 13-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front camera, and a 2350mAh battery.
The Galaxy A will be available in Russia in early-January and will be expanded to global markets.
