Xiaomi Mi6 went official today packing the latest developments the company has to offer - beautiful and unique design, Snapdragon 835 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU, and two 12MP sensors. One sensor will capture regular shots, and the other one is a telephoto sensor, same as the Apple iPhone 7 Plus.

The Xiaomi Mi6 camera comes with an optical zoom dual camera that takes clearer photos of distant subjects, and gives portrait shots an unparalleled background blur effect. The device comes with a 2X Lossless Zoom feature that also possesses 10X Digital Zoom if you are capturing still images.

And while we already know the camera is meant for greatness, so here are some official Camera samples of Xiaomi's Mi6. Like always, we would advise you to wait for some real samples from Mi6’s camera until we can make our final judgment.

Xiaomi Mi 6 finally goes official in China, the company's homeland. As rumored, Xiaomi did not launch two variants of the phone, and there's no Mi 6 Plus in real life. Xiaomi might announce it in coming months. 

However, speculations were not wrong regarding the specifications of the phone. The Xiaomi Mi 6 retains the same display size of 5.15-inch as its predecessor Xiaomi Mi 5 and has Full HD resolution. At the heart of the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. The phone comes with two storage options- 64GB and 128GB. 

Xiaomi has added a dual rear camera setup on the phone with two 12MP sensors. One sensor will capture regular shots, and the other one is a telephoto sensor, same as the Apple iPhone 7 Plus. The phone comes 2*2 Wi-Fi band that delivers double speeds and broader range. It also has support for NFC for Mi-Pay. 

The Mi 6 comes with a larger 3340mAh battery with Qualcomm QuickCharge 4.0. There's also a silver colored variant of the phone, which looks incredibly dope. The Mi 6GB+64GB model will come with a price tag of 2499 Yuan ($363), and the 6GB+128GB variant comes with a price tag of 2899 ($421). The premium silver variant ships for 2999 Yuan ($435). 

Xiaomi Mi 6 With Snapdragon 835 SoC to Launch on April 19: Officially Confirmed

So, here we bring the most anticipated news of the month. The Xiaomi Mi 6 was confirmed to launch this month itself by CEO Lei Jun. Some misleading news suggested that the phone will be announced today, however, Xiaomi will announce the phone on April 19, just two days before the Samsung Galaxy S8 sale. 

Our source also confirmed that Xiaomi will be ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack with the Xiaomi Mi 6 in favor of the USB Type-C audio. It is already a known reason why Xiaomi delayed the Mi 6 launch till now: the availability of Snapdragon 835 SoC. 



As you might be aware of the fact that Samsung used the entire first batch production of Snapdragon 835 on their Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, that apparently left Xiaomi with only option- delay the phone until you get the chip. 

As far as rumored specifications go, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will come in two variants- Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus. Both the variants will be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC, and the Mi 6 Plus might come with a dual lens camera at the rear. All said, these are just rumored specs. We will have to wait until April 19 to know the final details of the device. 

Xiaomi Announces the Redmi 4A at ₹5999 in India

Today Xiaomi announced the availability and pricing details of the Redmi 4A in India. With 16GB of internal storage, the Redmi 4A costs ₹5999 and will be available through Amazon India and MI's website.

With Redmi 4A, you get a 5" Display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 CPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 128GB via a MicroSD card. The Device is packed with 3,120mAh battery and runs MIUI 8 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.



It comes in Dark Grey, Gold and an exclusive Rose Gold color, the Dark Grey and Gold variant will go on sale on March 23 at 12 noon, while the Rose Gold variant will be available on April 6.

Hugo Barra's Next Stint will be With Facebook as VP of Virtual Reality

As expected, Xiaomi has unveiled two new budget smartphones namely Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A in China. Both the smartphones comes with interesting specifications and all metal unibody design.

The Redmi 4 comes out with two variants, one with Snapdragon 430 (Standard Edition) & other with Snapdragon 625 (Pro Edition). 

Redmi 4 with Snapdragon 430 features a 5" HD Display, It has an Octa Core processor clocked at 1.4GHz paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB Storage. The Device sports a 13MP rear and 5MP selfie shooter. Skinned with MIUI 8, the device runs Marshmallow and has a giant 4100mAh battery.

Talking about Redmi 4 with Snapdragon 625, The Device sports a 5" FHD Display, It has an Octa Core processor clocked at 2.0GHz paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage. The Device sports a 13MP rear and 5MP selfie shooter. Skinned with MIUI 8, the device runs Marshmallow and has a giant 4100mAh battery

In addition, Xiaomi also launched the Redmi 4A

The Xiaomi Redmi 4A sports a 5" Display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 CPU, 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. The Device is packed with 3,120mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor placed at back.

The Redmi 4 with Snapdragon 430 has been priced at CNY 699, the Redmi 4 version with Snapdragon 625 will cost buyers CNY 899. Both the phones will be China-exclusive for now.

Earlier This month, Xiaomi revealed the Mi Note 2 and teased the upcoming Xiaomi Mi MIX, the bezel-less beast. It seems that Xiaomi is working on new 2016 Low-budget Smartphones.



According to new reports, Xiaomi Redmi 4 (Probably) and a new Mysterious Device (Probably Mi 5c?) got spotted at TENAA.

Following the announcement of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and the Xiaomi's upcoming Mi MIX, Xiaomi revealed its second low-cost virtual reality headset i.e. Xiaomi Mi VR.



This new VR headset works with latest Xiaomi's Smartphones including Mi 5 and Mi Note 2, the device only costs you $29.

The Xiaomi Mi VR comes with a new built-in motion sensor and also features a 9-axis motion controller and supports touch controls. Other than Mi VR, the OEM also launched Mi VR Store which comes with 30 VR apps and over 500 panoramic videos.

Xiaomi finally revealed the Mi Note 2 this week and teased the upcoming Xiaomi Mi MIX, the bezel-less beast. 



The Mi Note 2 can be your alternative to the late Note 7 and even shares some specs with the Note 7. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 comes out with stylish dual-curved 5.7-inch OLED Display.

The Device is powered with latest Snapdragon 821 SoC with a clock speed of 2.35GHz combined with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM with 128GB of UFS 2.0 storage while another variant comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Xiaomi Mi 5s Leaked Images shows iPhone 7 Design Copy

Xiaomi is all set to reveal its upcoming flagship smartphone i.e Xiaomi Mi 5s. The smartphone has now been leaked in new Renders, Retail Box And Promo Posters.

Summing up all the leaked information about Xiaomi's upcoming smartphone. There's going to be two variant's i.e Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus. Xiaomi Might be launching them to compete with Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, Though still they can't.



The Leaked image of Xiaomi Mi 5s/Plus shows the new the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner (Might be the copy of Apple's new Fingerprint sensor), The back has dual camera setup (Turn camera position 90 degrees and it will look exactly like iPhone 7 Plus).

There's no info regarding the Screen size. Both The Smartphone will be powered with Snapdragon 821. The Mi 5s will ship with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while the Mi 5s Plus is said to come with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.



We don't know whether Xiaomi will include a 3.5mm headphone jack or not (iPhone 7 doesn't have, so probably "no").

Upcoming Xiaomi Redmi 3A hits TENAA

New Xiaomi Redmi 3A has been spotted at TENAA, and some of its specs have emerged. As you can see in the pictures, it comes with the familiar Xiaomi design language and has a back fingerprint scanner. 

This will be a rather compact device, with a 5" HD screen, a 13MP camera and Android 6.0.1 running on a octa-core 1.4GHz CPU. One interesting aspect, though, is that it comes with a 4000mAH battery, which is huge, and its price in China will be under 100 dollars.

We have to wait and see until it's unveiled, but it will be a very competitive phone for sure.

This Rom may contain some normal bugs and its only made for Xiaomi Mi 4 ( LTE variant ) , so don't try it on other devices .
