And the awesome rom for Samsung Galaxy Core is here ! It will be last build of KitCat rom for Samsung Galaxy Core . After 1 lakh plus download of KitCat rom , presenting Kitcat Build 4 .



Samsung has left Samsung Galaxy core and will not give any update to It , not even 4.2 Jelly bean . So i decided to make a rom which will give both performance and looks . So made KitCat ( 2nd Custom rom for Samsung Galaxy Core ) .

How to Install KitCat Build 4 on Samsung Galaxy Core -

Step 1. Download The Rom and Place it in root of your Storage

Step 2.Go Into recovery cwm mode

Step 3.Wipe data

Step 4.Wipe cache

Step 5.Wipe dalvik cache

Step 6.Install zip from sd card

Step 7.Choose KitCat.zip and reboot !

How to Unlock Bootloader of Moto G 2nd Gen ( 2014 )


Like other Motorola Smartphones you can Unlock Moto G 2nd Gen ( 2014 ) Bootloader also . Unlocking Bootloader voids warrenty , but still people Unlock Bootloader for Development Purposes .




Note -

We are not responsible for any damage caused to your Smartphone . 

Keep a backup of your data before following the steps , as Unlocking will wipe all your data .




By following this below guide , you can easily unlock your bootloader of Moto G 2nd Generation .


How to Unlock Bootloader of Moto G 2nd Gen ( 2014 ) -

Step 1. Download Minimal ADB and fastboot from below .



Step 2. Download and Install Latest Motorola Drivers from below .

Step 3. Go to Moto G 2nd Gen ( 2014 ) Settings > Developer Settings and Select Allow OEM Unlock .

Step 4. Switch off your Motorola Moto 2nd Gen ( 2014 ) and Boot to Fastboot mode by pressing Power + Volume down button at the same time .

Step 5. Now Open Minimal ADB and fastboot ( which you downloaded in step 2 ) on PC and open cmd from there .

Step 6. Connect your Motorola Moto G 2nd Gen ( 2014 ) to PC via USB cable .

Step 7. Type This on Cmd   fastboot oem get_unlock_data  .

You will get a String , just copy it and Paste it in a Notepad and remove empty spaces from it .

Step 8. Go to Motorola's website and Log in using your Google / Motorola Id and paste the Copied String on 6th Step .

Step 9. Now complete all the Steps at Motorola's Website and Request unlock key . 

Step 10. You will get an Unlock key at your mail id , just copy it .

Step 11. In Cmd ( which you opened following step 5 ) type -

fastboot devices 

It will check , your device is connected or not , after that type -

fastboot oem unlock Key 

Replace Key with the Unlock Key , you got on Step 10 .

How to Downgrade Moto G 2nd Gen Xt1068 from Lollipop to Kitkat

Many of the users must have upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop officially or Many of them have flashed other countries version on Their Moto G 2014 . Also some of them have flashed cm12 ( Android 5.0.2 ) including me . 




So this Guide will cover how you can downgrade from Android 5.0 Lollipop to Android 4.4.4 Kitkat , Without Bricking your device .



How to Downgrade Your Moto G 2nd Generation ( 2014 ) from Android 5.0 Lollipop to Android 4.4.4 Kitkat -

Step 1. Download Latest XT1068 Android 4.4.4 Kitkat official Firmware from below .

Step 2. Download The tools which we will be using to downgrade from lollipop to kitkat , from below .

Step 3. After Downloading , Extract both the firmware package and The tools in the same folder ( Yes in the same folder ) .


Step 4. Reboot your Phone To bootloader mode and connect your Phone to PC via USB cable .

Step 5. Open Command Prompt on the same folder ( By - right click on mouse + shift button and open command window ) .

Step 6. Copy , Paste and run the following commands in The Command window .


mfastboot.exe flash partition gpt.bin
mfastboot.exe flash motoboot motoboot.img
mfastboot.exe flash logo logo.bin
mfastboot.exe flash boot boot.img
mfastboot.exe flash recovery recovery.img
mfastboot.exe flash system system.img_sparsechunk.0

Step 7. The above Command will take few minutes , after that run following command -


mfastboot.exe reboot

Step 8. Congrats your Phone should be on Kitkat firmware now !
