Nameless rom Available for Moto G 2nd Generation

Nameless ( A popular rom ) is finally available for Motorola Moto  G 2nd Generation . Nameless roms are based on Cyanogenmod , but it features some new Features along with it .

Thanks to koradiavatsal for making Nameless rom for Moto G 2nd Generation . It is based on Android 5.0.2 .


Some of the features of Nameless rom includes -

How to Install Nameless Rom on Moto G 2nd Generation -

You must have Unlocked boot loader and Must be Rooted .

You must have TWRP recovery Installed .

Step 1. Download Nameless rom from Below .

Step 2. Boot To TWRP recovery mode by Pressing Volume Down + Power button > After that press Volume Down > Volume Up .

Step 3. Wipe your Data and Cache



Step 4. Install Nameless rom from Sdcard

Step 5. Reboot your Phone .

Best Android 5.1 rom for Motorola Moto G 2nd Generation : Ressurrection Remix

Recently Google launched Android 5.1 and Cyanogen also launched Cm12.1 ( which is based on Android 5.1 lollipop ) . Cm12.1 is available for Motorola Moto G 2nd Generation - Get it here .

I have tested all Android 5.1 based rom for Motorola Moto G 2nd Generation and found RESURRECTION REMIX the best rom so far . Many thanks to varund7726 for making such an great rom .


Here are some screenshots of Ressurrection Remix rom , which is based on Android 5.1 Cm12.1 - 

Although it is based on Cm12.1 , but it has many many additional features with tons of performance tweaks . 

You can Install it directly by following normal Installation method , Given Below -

Official Lollipop update coming to YU Yureka this week

Micromax + Cyanogen's Smartphone YU Yureka to get Official update , in these days only . Yureka users are confirmed to get Android 5.0 Lollipop update officially . 

According to YU support team , the roll out will begin in First Week of April . Yureka will get Cm12s update this week . 

To get the update , Yureka users must be on Stock Cm11 firmware .

Android 5.1 comes with tons of features and major bug fixes . Motorola has also rolling Android 5.1 for many Motorola devices .
Today only Moto G XT1032 got Official Update .

Motorola has begun roll out for Android 5.1 , which comes with major bug fixes and many new features as compared to Android 5.0.2 . 

If your are owner of Motorola Moto G ( 1st Generation ) Google Play edition then you can Install Android 5.1 update officially , By just checking software updates on your Moto G Google play .

Moto G 5.1 Lollipop - Via

Motorola Moto G ( 1st Generation ) Google Play edition users can also install the update manually , by just Installing the OTA update captured zip .


The build number seems to be LMY47M and the update is of 171 MB only . To Install the Update manually follow - TechDroider's Post .
