Motorola Modems and connectivity products coming to the world

Earlier this year, Motorola and Zoom Telephonics began their 5 year partnership in which Zoom will manufacture and sell Motorola-branded devices (following Motorola design, quality and connectivity standards) in the US. Four cable modems have been released since them and all of them have become Amazon best sellers.

As you might or might not know, Motorola was the best selling modem and set-top box brand under its Motorola Home business until Google sold it to Arris in 2013. At first, Arris took away the Motorola brand and its sales started to decrease so they agreed with Motorola to use the Motorola brand for two years (until 2015). Motorola now gave the brand rights to Arris biggest competitor in the US, Zoom Telephonics. The new products are curved and even feature the iconic Motorola dimple in its logo, following Motorola design standards.

Now this deal has expanded, and Zoom will be able to sell these products in the USA and the rest of the world. The Motorola brand is known for being one of the top home connectivity brands in the world so this is great for Zoom, Motorola, Motorola fans and consumers.

In addition to cable modems we will see Motorola routers, range-extenders, powerline network adaptors and wireless access points devices. We will see these devices by late 2016. Here's a sneak peak of what's to come:
