Most Popular benchmark maker AnTuTu has released list for the Top 10 Performance Smartphones for the month of June 2017 and it covers smartphone brands from around the world and the domestic Chinese brand.

The below chart is based on the average performance of the smartphones in AnTuTu benchmark test and the list contains only 10 Smartphones retaining their positions.
Top 10 Smartphones on AnTuTu In June 2017

As you can see, the recently announced OnePlus 5 tops the AnTuTu with Snapdragon 835 processor. It is closely followed by the ZTE’s Nubia Z17 which is having 8GB RAM. At the number 3 position is the Snapdragon 835-powered HTC U11 and at number four and five is the SD 835-powered Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus and the Xiaomi Mi 6. The iPhone 7 Plus with a A10 chip inside occupies the sixth spot, while the Xperia XZ Premium is at seventh. The rest of the list is made up of the iPhone 7 at the eighth position, Galaxy S8 at the ninth, and OnePlus 3T at the last.

That said, It's not a shocker that the OnePlus 5 snatched the crown from the HTC U11, which was on the top of the list last month. The OnePlus 5 features 8GB RAM and is accused of cheating on benchmarks, also it is the first device to cross the 180k mark. Thoughts?

CopyCat Malware has Infected 14 Million Android Smartphones Across the Globe

CopyCat Malware has Infected 14 Million Android Smartphones Across the Globe
CopyCat Malware is a new virus spreading to Android smartphones across the globe. According to a security firm Checkpoint, the malware has already spread to nearly 14 million Android devices, more than half of which are found in Asia. And nearly 4.9 million devices have fraudulent applications installed, while owners of 3.8 million devices have to deal with the advertisements served by the malware.

The CopyCat Malware is an auto ad-clicking malware, which automatically clicks ads when you're on the infected app. That said, they have managed to earn around $1.5 million in ad revenue.

Hackers are capable of rooting the device, serving fraudulent advertisements, installing fraudulent applications, and stealing app installation credits. The CheckPoint firm says that installing the apps directly from the Google Play Store should prevent the device from being infected.

So, to stay secured and away from these apps, check out the reviews for the app and game before downloading it. And if you find a bad review, then ignore the app.
