This is the 2017 Google Pixel with large bezels

The entire world is looking for next Google flagship smartphones the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 to release at the earliest, but one has to wait until this October to get hands on it. And leaks about the phones are keeping you at bay, especially about the design and specifications.

We have already seen our first potential look and CAD Renders of both the Pixel XL 2 and Pixel 2. Now, Thanks to Evan Blass from VentureBeat, we now have another Image and a little more details about the Smaller Pixel 2 (Pixel 2017.)
If you ask me, the device looks fine from back, but the front is really disappointing. Don't know why only Samsung and LG, so far, seems to have gone all in on killing off bezels. With these huge bezels, we don't think that the Pixel 2 will be able to even touch the standards of Galaxy S8, LG G6, and the upcoming Smartphones.

Earlier rumors says that the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 will feature Snapdragon 836 SoC. Additionally, Snapdragon 836 is going to be relatively similar to the Snapdragon 835 in terms of hardware but will feature higher peak GPU and CPU clock speeds. Both the 2017 Pixel phones will be having a better camera, and that's something really interesting. We have seen Google doing wonders with the 2016 Pixel cameras and it seems that Google will be breaking the walls again to create new Imaging Standards with the Pixel 2.

And Yes, Google is ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack! Thoughts?

OnePlus withdraws OxygenOS 4.5.7, rolls out OxygenOS 4.5.8
Just a few days ago, we reported that OnePlus has started pushing OxygenOS 4.5.7 for the OnePlus 5 with new features and bug fixes.

Following the update, several users on OnePlus' forum and reddit started noticing a lot of stutter while playing games. OnePlus acknowledged the issue and has withdrawn the update.

OnePlus has now started pushing OxygenOS 4.5.8 with a fix for those who have already installed OxygenOS 4.5.7, and those who haven't installed the OxygenOS 4.5.7 will directly get OxygenOS 4.5.8 with new features and bug fixes.

The changelog of the OxygenOS 4.5.8 is similar to the OxygenOS 5.5.7, the update includes new OnePlus Slate font, adds EIS (Electronic image stabilization) for 4k video recording, and updates the Security patch to 1st July 2017. Here's the full Changelog.

We all know that Pixel XL 2 and Pixel 2 are going to be next Google Smartphones to release at the earliest, but one has to wait until this October to get hands on it.

However, Case makers have already started developing cases for the Next Google Smartphones. A reddit user "eqbirvin" bought one for Pixel XL 2, in order to compare the size with 2016 Pixel and Samsung Galaxy S8.

According to earlier leaks, the Pixel XL 2 will sport 7.9 mm thickness (8.6 with camera bump). Google for some unknown reasons has removed the 3.5mm jack port on both the Pixel 2(s).

The below Image shows Pixel XL 2 Size comparison with Samsung Galaxy S8.

Both the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 will be having similar rear design with a two-tone glass and metal finish, though the glass window is located near the top and no longer encloses the fingerprint scanner. On the bottom, a Google “G” is present.

Additionally, the Google Pixel XL 2017 might feature a squeezy side, just like we have seen on the HTC U11, which will allow you to interact with the phone, primarily when using Google Assistant.

Latest rumors says both the Pixel 2 Phones will feature Snapdragon 836 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

Lenovo K8 Note to Run Stock UI Instead of Vibe Pure UI

Lenovo K8 Note to Run Stock UI Instead of Vibe Pure UI
One of the enormous strengths of Motorola devices is the fact that they offer near stock Android. With an increase in the popularity of Stock Android skin, Lenovo is apparently looking to replace the Vibe Pure Skin with Stock Android UI.

According to the latest reports, the Lenovo K8 Note will be fueled with Clean Stock Android UI, similar to that found in Motorola Smartphones.

"What we have done in last 11 months is we looked at what we had in terms of software perspective. We have been close to the consumers and we saw what they were asking for. There was a certain trend and we have now decided to cut the Vibe Pure UI off from our phones. So you will now get the stock Android which consumers have been asking for," Anuj Sharma, Head of Product Marketing, Smartphones, Lenovo MBG India told Gadgets 360.

"The stock Android will also mean that it will be more efficiently updated to next Android OS. It also makes it easier to support for extended period of time,"
Anuj Sharma added.

Lenovo also confirmed that the all smartphones launched in 2017 under the 'K series' branding will receive Android O update. That said, Lenovo is all set to announce the K8 Note on August 9 in India.
