Android P Beta on its way for Nokia 6.1, Nokia 7, and Nokia 8 Sirocco in China

Back at Google IO, Google released new Android P Build (Developer Preview 2) with exciting new features, and also announced a huge expansion of its Android Beta program. Google made the new firmware available for non-Google devices including Smartphones from brands like OnePlus, Xiaomi, Nokia, Essential, Sony, Vivo, and Oppo Smartphones.

Nokia 7 Plus was one of the lucky Smartphone to receive Android P Beta across the globe, except China.

Now, Nokia’s Beta Labs in China, is allowing a limited number of Nokia 7 Plus who signed up for the beta program between June 21 and June 24 to get a taste of new Software (Android P Beta). Not only that, Nokia is also expanding this wave to other Nokia Smartphones including Nokia 6.1, Nokia 7, and Nokia 8 Sirocco in China.

There's no exact date on when HMD is going to roll Android 9.0 P Beta to these devices. Also it is unclear if HMD Global has any plans to bring the Android P beta to the international variants of the Nokia 6.1, and Nokia 8 Sirocco. We will let you know once the update is live. Here's when Asus Zenfone Max and Laser Phones will get Official Android Oreo

Back during the announcement of Zenfone 4 line in Brazil in October 2017, ASUS revealed that not only the new family but also the entire Zenfone 3 line would be upgraded to the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. Since then, Asus has upgraded only a few phones and that eventually resulted criticism from its users.

Now, the Taiwanese brand has revealed the confirm timeline of the update to Android 8.0 Oreo for five models including Zenfone 3 Max (ZC553KL), Zenfone 3 Max (ZC520YL), Zenfone 3 Laser,  Zenfone 4 Max (ZB554KL), and Zenfone Max Plus M1.

Moto X4 Picks Up June 2018 Security Patch in Brazil

The Moto X4 Regular variant is now getting the latest Android security patch, bug fixes, and improvements.

If you own a Moto X4 in Brazil you should have received the over-the-air update notification for June 1, 2018 Android security update. New software update for the Moto X4 brings along Bug fixes and Stability improvements. The new build number is OPWS27.2.3.

Note that the Moto X4 still runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. While this update would have been more exciting if it had brought Oreo 8.1, which is already available for a  few Moto X4 variants.

Motorola’s instructions explain that for a successful installation, the battery in your phone should be at least 50% charged and your device should be connected to a Wi-Fi network or LTE.

If you haven't got the notification of this new software update yet, Just go to Settings - About Phone - Software updates, and It will automatically start downloading the latest update. The update will take around 10-15 minutes to get Installed on your device.

Samsung Smartphone with Stock Android on Its Way

According to the latest reports, Samsung is working on a new Android Go Smartphone for all the markets across the globe.

This new Samsung's Android Go device has a model number of SM-J260G in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Sri Lanka, SM-J260F in United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, Caucasus Countries, Germany, Italy, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Francem, Poland and SM-J260M in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Trinidad and Tobago, Peru, Panada and Paraguay. 

Android Oreo Go Operating System features a handful of Google apps including the GoogleGo, Google Assistant Go, Maps, Gmail, YouTube Go, and other light-weight stuffs. The Android 8.1 Oreo Go is designed to run better on phones with either 512MB or 1GB of RAM. Moreover Android Go is also built to allow for timely updates.

Samsung is Betting Big for its upcoming first Stock Android Smartphone.

Moto G5 Plus and Moto G5 Android 8.1 Oreo Update is on Its Way

Motorola is planning to release the latest Android 8.1 Oreo update to its Moto G5 Smartphones. Android 8.1 Oreo update Release Notes for the Moto G5 Plus and Moto G5 are now live.

Android 8.1 Oreo comes with numerous enhancements over Android 8.0 Oreo, such as new dark and light themes which changes according to wallpaper, Pixel 2 Launcher, Redesigned Power Menu, new Shutdown and Reboot Animation, Round Statusbar Icons, and Setting. Motorola might also add several new features to the latest software update. Android 8.1 Oreo update for the Moto G5 Plus and Moto G5 would also feature the latest June 1st 2018 Security Patch, Stability improvements, and brand new Camera Application.
