I've been using Xiaomi POCO F1 for a couple of days now and have found that it's going to take 675 hours for my device to get Bootloader Unlocked. Searching further about this issue, I found that the Situation is even worse, a few Pocophone users are seeing waiting times as long as 1440 hours.

So if you are planning to purchase the "Developer Friendly" POCO F1, you might face Bootloader Unlock waiting times as long as 2 months.

Wait, MIUI 10 Global is available for the POCO F1, However, you'll need an Unlocked Bootloader in order to test the latest ROM. LOL!

Moto G5s Plus Finally Receiving Its Oreo Update in Brazil
The Motorola Moto G5s Plus is now receiving its Official Oreo update. We've seen the update coming through Moto G5s Plus in Brazil (RETBR). It weighs around 1203.6MB and features August 1, 2018 Security patch.

Android 8.1 Oreo update includes new Settings and Notification panel UI, Picture in Picture (PIP), Adaptive icons, Autofill, Notification timeout, and other Oreo goodies.

The stable build is rolling out as OPS28.65-36 for the Moto G5s Plus. Motorola’s instructions explain that for a successful installation, the battery in your phone should be at least 50% charged and your device should be connected to a Wi-Fi network or LTE.


If you haven't got the notification of this new software update yet, Just go to Settings - About Phone - Software updates, and It will automatically start downloading the latest update. The update will take around 10-15 minutes to get Installed on your device.

Now that Google has released the next version of Android, Android 9.0 Pie, the wait for the devices to get the update first has already started. Motorola today announced the list of its devices that will officially get the update and this list includes the devices that have been released by the company in the recent times as well as it also includes some devices that have been a little older.

The Motorola Moto Z2 Play is now getting the latest Android security patch, bug fixes, and improvements.

If you own a Moto Z2 Play RETBR you should have received the over-the-air update notification for August 1, 2018 Android security update. New software update for the Moto Z2 Play brings along Bug fixes and Stability improvements.

Note that the Moto Z2 Play now runs Android 8.0 Oreo. Motorola has already announced that the Moto Z2 Play will be getting Android 9.0 Pie.
