Official Android N 7.0 Nougat for Moto G3 -

No , The Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation will not be getting Official Android N By Motorola . 

Accordingly Google will release Android Nougat in August or September and Motorola will get hands on to Nougat's source code from Google in August or September. 

Motorola will start roll out of Android N Nougat for several Motorola devices in first quarter of 2017.

Android N Nougat for Motorola Moto X 2nd Gen 2014 : News , Release date and more

Motorola released the Moto X 2nd gen back in 2014. Dubbed as phone of the year, the smartphone was loved by most of the people. The phone came with KitKat, got Lollipop and then was one of the first to get Marshmallow. Will it get Android Nougat now?

In this article, we will talk about moto X 2nd gen's Nougat update

I'm sorry to disappoint all of you, but the answer is no, you are not getting Android Nougat. The phone was launched in 2014 and Google's policy of software updates cover just 18 months past its release. But the phone did have one hell of a run, seeing three Android versions pass through it.

There's some good news though, the phone has a great developer community and custom ROMs supporting it will be released by the end of the year, so you will be able to play with all the new features that come with Nougat.

Although it's sad that moto X2 won't get Nougat officially, please understand that it's had a great run and that it's almost two years old by now, so its update would degrade its performance.
