The NBA Edition of Vivo X9 and XPlay 6 are clearly cool

Vivo, the Chinese Brand has announced a limited edition NBA variant of the Vivo X9 and Vivo Xplay 6 to coincide with the NBA Finals, the rubber match between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors. 

The Vivo Xplay 6, NBA edition comes in blue color with 'NBA blue' hue signature. While the Vivo X9 carries Steph Curry's jersey number '30' on the back and it features antenna lines along the edges that are painted yellow, which looks stunning. Both the devices also comes with custom skin with a wallpaper, icons and typography all made to fit this NBA look.

Motorola launches new Moto Mods, including Wireless Charging Style Shells, Gamepad, and JBL SoundBoost 2

Along with the Moto Z2 Play announcement, the company has also announced few interesting Moto Mods, which will support all Moto Z Smartphones. 

First up is a GamePad Moto Mod, which allows you to transform your Moto Z into a handheld gaming console with a simple snap. You get dual control sticks, D-pad and four action buttons for a true gaming experience. The GamePad Module comes with 1035mAh built-in battery.

For Music lovers, Motorola announced JBL SoundBoost 2 which comes with water-repellant coating and will be available in red, blue or black color options. 

Along with the above two, the company also launched the Moto Style Shell with Wireless Charging support. These shells will be available in a variety of finishes.



The new Moto Mods will be available globally this summer, with Moto TurboPower Pack starting at $79.99 USD, Moto Style Shell with Wireless Charging at $39.99 USD, JBL SoundBoost 2 at $79.99 USD and Moto GamePad at $79.99 USD.

Moto Z2 Play Announced at $499 With Snapdragon 626 and 3000mAh battery

You are probably watching along to the Moto Z2 Play live stream or tweets, but the phone is now official with enhanced features such as a slim design, dual-pixel autofocus camera and new fingerprint sensor, that offer security and navigation at the same time.

Along with the Moto Z2 Play, the company also announced new Moto Mods, including the JBL Speaker 2, which comes in Red, Black and Blue colors, new Power Pack and Style Shells. Motorola also confirms that the Gamepad Mod project is alive and will be coming sooner or later this year.

Specs wise, the Moto Z2 Play offers a 5.5-inch FHD display with increased brightness levels. You get the Snapdragon 626 with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. The device also has a 12MP Dual Pixel camera at the back along with an 5MP snapper at the front with dual-tone LED flashlight. And yes, a 3000mAh battery.

The Moto Z2 Play features just 5.9mm thickness, and it comes with the aluminium body rather than the glass one seen on Moto Z Play. Also, the Z2 Play will have the camera bump at the back, for all the Moto Mods.

Moto Z2 Play will be available in Brazil today starting at R$ 1,999, and will rollout globally starting this month. In the U.S., Moto Z2 Play will be available exclusively on Verizon and will be available on Motorola.com later this summer for $499 USD.

Android O is coming to the Nokia 6, 5 and 3

The iconic Nokia 3310 is shipping in few countries such as the India, Europe, etc. But the company has been silent on the availability of its first batch of Android phones- Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3. 

According to the recent statement by the Finnish brand, all the three Android phones will ship worldwide by the end of June. This is the same date promised by Nokia at the time of the launch of three phones earlier at the MWC 2017 event. 

A spokesperson from HMD Global told TechRadar that the company will be updating the All the three Nokia Android Smartphones, the Nokia 6, 5 and 3 to Android O, the newest version of Google's operating system.


The Android O developer preview is already available for selected Pixel and Nexus Smartphones. The final version of the Android O will get official later this year.

OnePlus 2 won't get Android Nougat, According to Customer Email

Recently, OnePlus founder and chief executive Pete Lau announced that the company will be updating the OnePlus 3/3T to the Android O, the newest version of Google's operating system. 

Leave Android O, It seems that the OnePlus 2 is not going to receive its long-awaited update to Android 7.0 Nougat even. The report is coming from an owner who posted the confirmation online, along with a copy of the transcript of the conversation with a OnePlus customer support representative.
