Chinese smartphone firm, OnePlus has released a new OxygenOS Beta update to the OnePlus 3 and 3T. The OnePlus 3T receives OxygenOS Beta 9, and the OnePlus 3's version is OxygenOS Beta 18.

Unlike the previous update which focused on adding new features, the new beta update fixes various bug fixes caused in the last update. For example, the duplicate notifications bug has been fixed in this update.



Furthermore, the new beta also updates OnePlus Community app to V1.9, it also fix sending files via 3rd party applications like Shareit or Xender. Take a look at the complete changelog of the update below:

The update is slowly rolling out in all the countries, but it will take some time to reach your smartphone. Also, you will receive the update only if you're in the Open beta program previously.

With just a few days left for the formal announcement of the OnePlus 5, thanks to one of the most reliable tipster krispitech, we now have another leaked image of the OnePlus 5 showing the rear half.

The curved corners, antenna band, horizontal dual-cameras followed by LED flash and microphone are clearly visible. Above the Power button there's a sim-card tray.


That said, the OnePlus 5 might come in two variants, 6GB RAM/64GB ROM and 8GB RAM/128GB ROM. It is confirmed to feature Snapdragon 835 processor, 5.5" FHD display with 3D Glass and dual rear cameras of 20MP and 16MP.

OnePlus will also hold pop-up events starting June 20 in different countries, where users will be able to grab the OnePlus 5 and some exclusive stuffs.

As you all know, Motorola is hosting an event "Motorola is back" on June 27, where it is likely to reveal the new Moto Z and Moto Z Force with dual-camera setup.

While we have already seen the leaked renders of the upcoming Moto Z2, the device has been run through the AnTuTu benchmark test. As a result, AnTuTu was able to post and confirm the specs for the handset.


From the listing we can tell you that, the Second Generation Moto Z will be called Moto Z(2), which was rumoured earlier as well. The device will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chipset with Adreno 540 GPU, 5.5" QHD (2560 x 1440) display. Under the hood you will find 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage. A 12MP + 12MP Dual camera setup on the rear, 5MP to the front and Android 7.1.1 will come pre-installed.

The Moto Z2 is expected to come with metal back and usual 16 magnetic pins to connect the Moto Mods. Motorola might also launch few new Moto Mods along with the Moto Z2 and Moto Z2 Force. That said, we don't know how much will the Moto Z2 cost, but as compared to the Moto Z2 Play cost, don't expect it to be cheap.

Google is testing a new transparent Google Now panel

As reported by a bunch of reddit users, Google is now experimenting a new background design for its Google now page. 

The below screenshots are from version 7.3 of the Google app, the latest UI is somewhat similar to the Google Now panel you have right now, except the background is now transparent and shows the current wallpaper underneath the shortcuts and cardsThe Google logo is no more and the search bar has been moved to the top.

That said, Google seems to be testing or maybe rolling out the new transparent Google Now panel UI. So far, only a few reddit users has reported these design changes. Anyone else seeing it? Let us know in the below comment section!

Moto C and Moto E4 series launched in Philippines
The recently announced Motorola Moto C and Moto E4 Smartphones are now officially available in Philippines. The ultra-budget Moto C is priced at Php3,699 while the higher model Moto C Plus is priced at Php6,299. The Moto E4 Plus costs Php8,999.


The Moto C can be easily bought via lazada while the Moto C Plus and E4 will be available by the end of June at major Lenovo retailers. That said, the below are the specs of Moto C and Moto E4 series.

The Moto C sports a 5" WFVGA display (854 x 480) resolution, 2MP front camera with selfie flash, 5 rear camera with LED flash, 2350mAh battery, Quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage. The device will be available in Metallic Cherry, Pearl White, Fine Gold and Starry Black color options.

The Moto C Plus is the exact same phone as the Moto C in terms of design and color options, Specs wise, the C Plus features a 5" 720p panel (1280 x 720), 8MP rear camera, 4000mAh battery, Quad core CPU, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with dual SIM support.


The Moto E4 sports a 5" HD display with 2.5D curved glass, 5MP front camera with selfie flash, 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash, 2800mAh battery, NFC support, MT6737 Quad-core processor/ Snapdragon 425/ 427, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage. The device will be available in Iron Grey, Blush Gold, and Oxford Blue color options.

The Moto E4 Plus is the exact same phone as the Moto E4 in terms of design and color options, Specs wise, the E4 Plus features a 5.5" HD display, 13MP rear camera, 5MP selfie shooter, a giant 5000mAh battery, MT6737 Quad core CPU/ Snapdragon 425/ 427, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with LTE support.
