Moto Mod Could transform Moto Z to a 5G Phone

A day back, we heard that Motorola and Lenovo are working to bring Project Tango to Moto Z Devices via Moto Mod.

Today, John Touvannas, senior director of Motorola product management has announced to bring new "mod" add-ons for the Moto Z in 2017, few of them includes e-ink displays, a baby monitor, and even a 5G modem.

"Without having to wait for the next-gen phone that can bring the next technology or capability, we can get to that quicker through the mod" - John Touvannas

According to Motorola, half of the Moto Z owners are using Moto Mods, while about 20% of them is also using Insta-Share Projector and Hasselblad True Zoom camera.

This is the 2017 Motorola Moto X

A month back we reported and published an Image (Render) of 2017 Moto Smartphone and it looks like that we were absolutely right.

As earlier leaked Roadmap suggests, Motorola and Lenovo has already started working on 2017 Moto Smartphones and we might see a Moto X Comeback and a new Moto C.

Thanks to anonymous tipster for bringing some exclusive Images of the Moto X 2017. Looks similar to our previous render? Yes!

This is the 2017 Motorola Moto X

We already know it's an all-metal phone, with a similar camera set-up to the Moto Z series (even the flat tire).

The device kind of reminds us of the original Droid Turbo/Moto Turbo/Moto Maxx from 2014, and it actually looks pretty good. We don't have much specs for the device, although we know it will have a front fingerprint scanner like Lenovo's ZUK has and will come in Silver and Gold color, from the size of the hands in the leaked picture it comes with a mid-ish screen, most likely a 5.5" screen or less.

Thanks for tip ;)

Reliance Jio extends free 4G data service till March 2017, But There's a Catch

Reliance has announced that it will be extending Jio free 4G data, voice and video service till March 2017.

Starting from 4th of December, 2016 every existing as well as new Reliance JIO customers will be eligible for free data till 31st March 2017.

But there’s a catch to the whole situation. For fair usage, Reliance has reduced the 4GB per day data limit to 1GB. After 1GB, the download speed will be capped to 128kbps.

With 52 million users, Reliance is planning to deploy JioMoney Merchant Solutions in the coming months to increase adoption of cashless payment system among customers and merchants.
