Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation was launched back in July 2015 . The device came with Android Lollipop and even got Marshmallow update . 

According to Motorola , Moto G 3rd Generation was the best sold Smartphone in their history . 



In This Article , We will be talking about Android N ( Nougat ) for Moto G 3rd Generation ( AKA Moto G3 2015 ) . 

Official Android N 7.0 Nougat for Moto G3 -

No , The Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation will not be getting Official Android N By Motorola . 

Accordingly Google will release Android Nougat in August or September and Motorola will get hands on to Nougat's source code from Google in August or September. 

Motorola will start roll out of Android N Nougat for several Motorola devices in first quarter of 2017.

Unofficial Android N 7.0 Nougat for Moto G 3rd Generation - 

Moto G3 users will be able to Install Android 7.0 Nougat on their Smartphones unofficially ( By Rooting and Installing via TWRP ) .


Moto G 3rd Generation has a great developer support and It will get Android N very soon ( In 2016 ) after the release of Android N AOSP source codes OR Cyanogenmod 14 source codes .

Android N Nougat for Motorola Moto X 2nd Gen 2014 : News , Release date and more

Motorola released the Moto X 2nd gen back in 2014. Dubbed as phone of the year, the smartphone was loved by most of the people. The phone came with KitKat, got Lollipop and then was one of the first to get Marshmallow. Will it get Android Nougat now?

In this article, we will talk about moto X 2nd gen's Nougat update

I'm sorry to disappoint all of you, but the answer is no, you are not getting Android Nougat. The phone was launched in 2014 and Google's policy of software updates cover just 18 months past its release. But the phone did have one hell of a run, seeing three Android versions pass through it.

There's some good news though, the phone has a great developer community and custom ROMs supporting it will be released by the end of the year, so you will be able to play with all the new features that come with Nougat.

We will keep this post updated through the rest of the year to update you with all the news. Moto X2 will likely see most of the popular roms like CyanogenMod 14 and others available as soon as they are released. 

Although it's sad that moto X2 won't get Nougat officially, please understand that it's had a great run and that it's almost two years old by now, so its update would degrade its performance.

Official Android N 7.0 Nougat for Moto G2 -

So , Motorola Moto G 2nd Generation users might be thinking that whether My Smartphone will get Official Android N 7.0 Nougat or Not ? 

The Answer is No ! Motorola Moto G 2nd Generation will not get Android N 7.0 ( Nougat ) Officially . The device was launched back in 2014 and According to Google's update policy , A device will get Android Updates till 18 months after the release date . So , there is no chance of Moto G2 to get Android Nougat .

Droid Turbo owners here's a good news for you , Seems Motorola is working on Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Motorola Droid Turbo . 



The new Wi-Fi Certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance was issued to Motorola model XT1254 ( OG DROID Turbo ) . The document shows the device running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow . Though the device currently runs Android Lollipop .

The Droid Turbo was launched in 2014 with Android 4.4.4 Kitkat . The device was later on updated to Android Lollipop . Seems Motorola will be updating the device very soon to Marshmallow also !

Moto Z Play spotted on import-export website Zauba

A month back , Motorola announced the Moto Z and Moto Z Force which will go on sale very soon . Motorola did revealed Moto Z and Z Force , but they didn't announced the Moto Z Play and some Moto Modules . 

The Moto Z Play will be a cheaper variant of Moto Z series , The Smartphone was spotted earlier on Geekbench and revealed many specification . 

Today , The 5.5 inch Moto Z Play Smartphone was spotted on Zauba by Techupdate3 . Motorola might throw an event soon to launch the new devices along with Moto G Play .

 Some leaked images of a secret press event have emerged online and we found some specs of the upcoming Nubia flagship. Get ready for some out of this world specs for the new smartphone!

The new N1 will come with an insane battery of 5,000mAH balanced with a 5.5" 1080p screen. If phones like the moto X Play get 2 days of battery with the same screen and a 3600mAH, the N1 will easily get 3 days of battery life and some more! That's crazy.

Other specs include a MediaTek CPU with 3GB of RAM, a 13MP camera and a price $255. We are excited!
