Moto Z Play is now getting Android 7.0 Nougat

After updating Moto Z and Z Force, Motorola has now started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat for the Moto Z Play. The new update costs 1121.1 MB and brings new features with Sweetest Android Nougat to the Z Play.

Few days ago, Moto Germany said that the Moto Z Play will get the Nougat update in March, but we can now confirm that the update is now out and is available for users of  the Moto Z Play.

This Moto Mod will let you use Moto Z underwater

There is no fact denying that Motorola is betting big on the future of Moto Mods and the recently concluded Hackathons is a proof for that. As of now, there are various Moto Mods to play music, capture images, project a picture, etc. 

According to latest report by Hellomotohk, Lenovo-Motorola is working on a Module which will make your Moto Z Waterproof and will let you use the device under water. 


Lenovo MBG Co-President & SVP Gina Qiao has posted an underwater image on weibo showing the Moto Z with Waterproof Moto Mod. 

According to the information we got, this Moto Mod will be called "Adventure Mod" and keep your Moto Z safe from dust and water.

Asus Announces Zenfone 3S Max

The Asus Zenfone 3S Max is now official! Today, the Taiwanese company announced its first Smartphone of 2017 and a latest addition to the Zenfone 3 series with Android 7.0 Nougat in India. 

With the Zenfone 3S Max, you get a 5.2-inch HD IPS Display with 2.5D curved glass, 1.5GHz Octa-core MT6750 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB plus microSD support up to 2TB, it comes with Android 7.0 Nougat with ZenUI on the top. 



The device features a 13 Megapixel Rear camera and 8 Megapixel selfie shooter, it comes with 5000mAh battery, which can easily run a couple of days.

LG to Release in the US on April 7; A Month After the Official South Korea Launch: Rumor

LG was the first smartphone vendor to confirm about their announcement at the MWC 2017. The company will be announcing the LG G6 at the mega tech show to be held in Barcelona, Spain. 

Rumors are already rife over the internet regarding the specs and design of the phone. While LG officially leaked the top half of the phone, it was all thanks to rumors for showing the complete look of the phone.

That said, here's yet another news about the LG G6 coming from the most reliable Evan Blass (@evleaks). In this tweet on his official Twitter handle, Blass claims that LG will release the smartphone at the MWC 2017 and it will go on sale from March 9, but the US users have to wait till April 7 to get their hands on the device and the reason is still unknown. 

Already consumers are furious about previous leaks suggesting that LG is opting for the older Snapdragon 821 SoC to power the G6, due to some production issues between Samsung and others. However, it is also said that the LG G6 will feature a glass and metallic back, USB Type-C port, 5.7-inch wide display, etc. 

This Upcoming Moto Mod Will Charge Your Moto Z Wirelessly by Not Connecting it to Phone

There is no fact denying that Motorola is betting big on the future of Moto Mods and the recently concluded Bangalore event is a proof for that. As of now, there are various Moto Mods to play music, capture images, project a picture, etc. 

But now, Mike Paukert, one of Motorola's 'Transform the Smartphone Challenge' developer is on a mission to do something unique. Yes, he is designing a mod that will charge the device wirelessly and doesn't add the bulky feel to the phone. This mod will be heavily useful for the users of Moto Z as it has a very smaller battery and thin body. 



The developer has already built a prototype of the mod which adds the Qi wireless charging tech to the device. That said, this mod will send the power to the device with the help of the USB cable and not the magnetic ports at the back, which is currently being used by other Moto Mods. 

Currently, the developer is working on getting funds from various sources to develop the product and he is expected to ship it by the end of this year or maybe by November 2017.

Nexus 6P is now getting February security patch update

Google has now started rolling out latest Android Security patch i.e. February security patch for the Nexus 6P. The update costs 39MB and carries the build number of N4F26O.

As listed earlier by Telus, Google Pixel, Pixel XL and Nexus 6P were scheduled to get February security patch today. The update is now rolling out for the Nexus 6P globally and will be soon available for the Pixel and Pixel XL.
