Moto G5 Plus Camera Specs leaked!



The Moto G5 Plus is expected to feature a 12MP rear camera, which is of course a downgrade over the Moto G4 Plus in terms of Camera resolution, but one should note that Bigger Camera resolution doesn't always means a better Camera.

Now, According to Roland Quandt, The Moto G5 Plus will come with a 12MP Camera with Sony IMX362 sensor, F1.7 aperture, PDAF, 4K Video recording (Which is same as the one in Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom), 5MP front Camera with F2.2 aperture and OmniVision OV5695.




Recently leaked Real life Image of the Moto G5 Plus has already confirmed few details of the Smartphone including  5.2" FHD Display, 12MP Rapid Focus camera, 3000mAh battery, 2.0Ghz Octa core processor, Fingerprint sensor, NFC and Motorola Experiences.

Motorola is expected to unveil the Moto G5 Plus on February 26th in an event during MWC in Barcelona.


HTC 10 Evo with Snapdragon 810 SoC Launched in India for Rs. 48,990



HTC 10 Evo, the name which we heard a little three months ago in India is again into the news. Back then, the Taiwanese company just announced the phone in India without any details regarding the availability and pricing. Today, the phone has a pricing that is Rs. 48,990. 

A whopping price tag and a mere Snapdragon 810 SoC. That's what HTC is all about. Diving into the specs of the phone, it has a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with support for expandable storage up to 2TB via a microSD card slot.

Another noticeable change in the HTC 10 Evo is that it won't feature a 3.5mm headphone jack as the company has opted for USB Type-C audio. The 10 Evo has a 16MP camera at the rear with support for PDAF and OIS. Also, there's an 8MP camera on the front for taking care of selfies and video calls. 

The phone comes with plethora of connectivity options: 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, etc. The phone boots Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and is armed with a 3200mAh battery. The phone is up for sale via Amazon Indian and HTC's official site and will be available in only one color- Pearl Gold. 

Android Wear 2.0 Goes Official; Brings in Google Assistant and Many New Features



Google finally pulled the wraps of their Android Wear 2.0 today, as expected. It was one of the much-anticipated OS of all time and Google till date released five Developer Previews for the OS. 

Along with the Android Wear 2.0, Google also announced the rumored LG Watch Style and LG Watch Sport, which are the first Smartwatches to come preloaded with the latest OS. 



Android Wear 2.0 brings in various new features with the major one being the Google Assistant, which is the Google's own AI engine, previously exclusive to Pixel phones. Other notable features include the 'quick way to respond to messages', which means that you can respond to arrived messages by handwriting or typing or by drawing an emoji, which is a great feature to have around. 






Also, Google is adding several new watch faces with the latest OS. Apart from this, the search giant also released the list of existing Smartwatches to be updated to latest OS and the list includes: ASUS ZenWatch 2 & 3, Casio Smart Outdoor Watch, Casio PRO TREK Smart, Fossil Q Founder, Fossil Q Marshal, Fossil Q Wander, Huawei Watch, LG Watch R, LG Watch Urbane & 2nd Edition LTE, Michael Kors Access Smartwatches, Moto 360 2nd Gen, Moto 360 for Women, Moto 360 Sport, New Balance RunIQ, Nixon Mission, Polar M600 and TAG Heuer Connected.




Telus Ends Support for Nexus 6P, Nexus 6, and Blackberry Priv



There is a new smartphone coming every now and then, and the old phones are being terminated by the brands. This time, it's the Canada carrier, Telus, who is now ending support for three major smartphones of recent times- Nexus 6P, Nexus 6, and Blackberry Priv.

According to a report coming from MobileSyrup, Telus is reportedly ending support for four phones that includes the above mentioned three phones and Blackberry Leap, released back in May 2016. It is worth noticing that Nexus 6P is also one and half-year-old device.



Also, do make a note that the carrier will sell these phones till the stock lasts and after that, the phones will reach 'End of Life' status from Telus, at least.

The February security patch fixes Pixel's speaker issue for some people


Recently Google started rolling out February's Security patch update for eligible Pixel and Nexus devices. The update not only brought latest Monthly security patch, but it also fixed one of the most annoying bug of few Google Pixel units.



According to r/GooglePixel users who tested the device's audio playing "Perfect Piano" and watching "The Mummy" trailer on full volume, the audio crackling noise bug seems to be fixed after February's Security patch.

As you might be aware of the fact that Motorola will be releasing more and more Moto Mods in the near future. The company might release at least half a dozen new Moto Mods at the upcoming MWC 2017. 

Recently, Motorola conducted several hackathon events in various countries, including India. And now, they showcased a new Moto Mod which will add a LED strip to your Moto Z series smartphone. 



This Mod is presented by Indiegogo, the crowd-funded Kickstarter project and will be called as 'Moto Edge.' The basic functionality of this Mod is that it will glow whenever a notification arrives onto your phone. The best part is: you can tweak the colors according to your choice with the help of a dedicated application installed on your phone.

Also, this new Edge Mod will be available in two different variants: one with a 2000mAh battery embedded into it called as 'Moto Edge Force, ' and the other one will wirelessly charge your phone called as 'Moto Edge Air'. 



With that said, Motorola may announce these Mods at the MWC 2017, but the official maker will start shipping it from July 2017, if the sources are believed to be true.

There are a countless number of leaks and rumors regarding the upcoming Samsung flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8. We have already seen first live image of the Galaxy S8, which came from the most prominent tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks).

Now, another real life Image of the Galaxy S8 has surfaced onto Weibo, giving us a closer look at lower half of the device. We can see dual-edge curved display with thin bezel. The Image also confirms 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port.

It was already confirmed that Samsung won't be launching the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus at the MWC 2017, instead, the company is planning to announce them at an event in NewYork on March 29.



Rumors are making rounds over the internet regarding the upcoming flagship phone from the company, but until now we haven't seen a clear look at the phones. But, that's going to change today, thanks to OnLeaks and Gear India for leaking the clear renders of the S8 and S8 Plus. 



Looking at the images, it is pretty much clear that Samsung will be using the same metal and glass body with the S8 as well and the display is now dual curved on both sides, which is the first time we see it from Samsung. The Galaxy S8 will sport a big 5.7-inch screen, whereas the S8 Plus will feature a 6.1-inch display. 


At the heart of the phone, there will be a Snapdragon 835 SoC and the company will release another variant of the phone with their Exynos 8895 chipset, coupled with 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM options. Storage on the phones might go up to 256GB, according to previous rumors. 



The phone will use a USB Type-C port and will have an awkwardly placed fingerprint sensor beside the camera module. This renders also confirmed that there won't be any dual camera at the rear side of the phone.
