Galaxy Note 8 case render leaks, shows off horizontal dual-camera setup

The entire world is looking for next Samsung flagship phone which is the Galaxy Note 8 to release at the earliest, but one has to wait until this September to get hands on it. And leaks about the phone are keeping you at bay, especially about the rear camera placement.

We have already seen multiple leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, however this new leak shows the case renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which looks absolutely stunning and is on-par with the earlier leaked rumors.

As you can see in the above images, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is having a horizontal dual-camera setup with Fingerprint sensor. To the front, the device features an infinity display, just like the Samsung Galaxy S8.

As per earlier reports the Note 8 will feature a 12-megapixel dual-camera sensor and independent optical image stabilization for the lens. Additionally, you will be getting a 6.3-inch edge-to-edge display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio, Exynos 8895 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipsets, depending on the market coupled with 6GB RAM.

This is the Meizu Pro 7 with secondary screen

What you are seeing right now is the first live Images of the upcoming Meizu Pro 7 with a secondary screen on the back. 

To the front there's a single camera, white front panel and the fingerprint sensor. The back contains something you would like to see, there's a dual-camera module above the secondary display on the left.

Earlier rumors says that the Meizu Pro 7 might feature a Helio X30/Exynos 8895 chipset and dual Sony cameras, both of 12 MP resolution.

Moto Z Play users on Android 7.1.1 Soak test are now getting another Software update
Earlier this month, Motorola started rolling out Soak test of Android 7.1.1 Nougat for the Moto Z Play with June 1, 2017 Android security patchVideo calling Duo application, Moto Mods v2.0, Stability improvements other interesting features along with Android 7.1.1 Nougat goodies.

Then again, there's another update for the Moto Z Play users running Android 7.1.1 Nougat Soak test. This latest software update features build no. of NPN26.118-10 and weighs in at around 181.6MB.

The update reportedly brings latest Security patch and other enhancement. Note that the device still runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat after the update.

Assuming the test rolls out smoothly, those of us not in the test could see the update within a week or two. Once Motorola announces an official rollout of the update for all, we shall let you know.

Today is the day we've all been waiting for, Qualcomm has finally announced the world's first Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor which is capable of Scanning through Display, Thick Glass and Metal with Underwater Operation, Heartbeat and Blood Flow Detection.

Qualcomm says that it is the first commercially announced integrated ultrasonic-based mobile solution to detect heart beat and blood flow for improved mobile authentication experiences.


Note that Qualcomm's design will only work when implemented on an OLED panel under 1200 μm thick. Qualcomm Fingerprint Sensors for Glass and Metal will be compatible with the recently announced Snapdragon 660 and 630 Mobile Platforms, and future Snapdragon Mobile Platforms and non-Snapdragon platforms. 

Qualcomm has partnered with VIVO demonstrating Qualcomm Fingerprint Sensors for Display and Metal using modified versions of the VIVO XPlay 6, which can be found at Qualcomm Technologies’ booth W5.E90 (Hall W5) at MWC Shanghai.

That said, Qualcomm announced that it will be supplying these futuristic Next-gen scanners for OEM starting in Summer 2018.
