OFFICIAL: List Of Motorola Phones Getting Android 8.0 Oreo

Now that Google has released the next version of Android, Android 8.0 Oreo, the wait for the devices to get the update first has already started. Motorola has updated it's software support page with the list of its devices that will officially get the update and this list includes the devices that have been released by the company in the recent times as well as it also includes some devices that have been a little older.

However, the Moto G4 Plus has not been included in this list by the company even though the smartphone was released last year. Here is the full List of Motorola Moto Devices Getting Android 8.0 Oreo Official Update

Problems Plague Nokia 3 after Android 7.1.1 Nougat update

The Android 7.1.1 Nougat update is still slowly rolling out to Nokia 3 but should you really update right now?

With the various exciting new features in Nokia 3's newest OS update, 7.1.1 Nougat, are various problems and bugs, as well. Many customers are reporting that most of the Applications are crashing after they installed the new update.

Few of the Nokia 3 users who updated to 7.1.1 Nougat are experiencing problem related to freezing or hanging of System Applications. Some couldn’t set the brightness level, some facing automatic mobile data off.

Another issue faced by a number of Nokia 3 users who are already on the new OS is the abnormal heating and battery drain.

Let’s hope Nokia will have a fix to this issue soon.

Nokia 2 in all its GLORY!!!

Most of the Nokia fans are looking for an Ultra-budget phone which is the Nokia 2 to release at the earliest, but one has to wait until the end of 2017 to get hands on it.

As you can see in the below Image (Courtesy: Evan Blass), the Nokia 2 looks exactly like the Nokia 3. The Nokia 2 will be having on-screen navigation keys instead of touch capacitive buttons, which can be found in previous Nokia Smartphones including the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6.

We already know that the device will be coming with Snapdragon 212 SoC clocked at 1.27 GHz, paired with 1GB RAM. Android 7.1.1 Nougat will be coming pre-installed with the Nokia 2.

Pixel XL 2 from Google Passes FCC Certification, Reveals Additional Details

The entire world is looking for next Google flagship smartphones the Next-Gen Pixel and Pixel XL to release at the earliest, but one has to wait until this October to get hands on it. And leaks about the phone are keeping you at bay, especially about the design and features.

We have already seen our first potential look at what to expect from the Pixel XL 2. Now the device just got certified through the FCC, revealing additional details.

The Pixel XL 2 will feature model no. G011C. The listing also confirms that LG is indeed making it. Apart from the model number and manufacturer confirmation, there's nothing much else.

The Pixel 2 will look a lot different from the Pixel XL 2 in terms of front design. The Pixel XL 2 will be having a 2:1 Full vision display while the Standard Pixel 2 will feature huge chin to the top and the bottom, just like the 2016 Pixel phones.

That said, Google plans to launch the duo-Pixel(s) on October 4th during an event. We’ll let you know if we find anything else before the launch.

Moto G4 Plus gets Android 8.0 Oreo via Lineage OS 15

You can now download and install the LineageOS 15 based on Android 8.0 Oreo on your Moto G4 Plus (Moto G 2016) Smartphone.

Google recently launched the Next Iteration of its Android Operating System Android 8.0 Oreo. The Tech Giant also pushed Android Oreo source code to AOSP, helping the developers develop custom ROMs for their devices based on Oreo.

Well, if you are a Moto G4 Plus owner, then this recent development might be of interest to you. Developer "Dreamstar" Nikit Sharma has successfully ported Android 8.0 Oreo LineageOS 15 on the Moto G4 2016. Additionally, most major aspects of the phone are working as expected (such as RIL, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.), but it's still not suitable for daily use.

You'll need to Unlock Bootloader and Install TWRP Custom Recovery in-order to Install the LineageOS 15 Android 8.0 Oreo Rom on Moto G4 Plus Athene. You can grab the Custom Rom ZIP file from below.
