Nokia 7 Plus Render Leaked, Includes 18:9 FullScreen Display and Dual Zeiss Camera

2017 was HMD's most successful year ever as Nokia phones sales soar. It seems that the company is planning to launch a bunch of Android Smartphones under Nokia brand in 2018.

Back in December 2017, we learned about the Nokia 7 Plus and other unannounced Nokia Smartphones via refrences inside Nokia Camera application. But now we have new information + high quality renders of the Nokia 7 Plus.

As you can see in the below image, the Nokia 7 Plus looks exactly similar to the Nokia 7 in terms of rear design but has dual-rear cameras and a 6 inches 18:9 display. On the Specificiation side, the Nokia 7 Plus features Snapdragon 660 CPU which is of course faster than the Snapdragon 630 used in Nokia 7. It has 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage expandable up to 128 GB with MicroSD.


It seems that Google working with Nokia for the software of the Nokia 7 Plus. The Nokia 7 Plus Android One Edition would get direct updates from Google eliminating the delays.

Taking a look at the Camera specs, we have 12MP + 13 MP with ZEISS Optics, 2X optical zoom, f/2.0 aperture, Dual PD all pixel focus, Nokia Pro Mode app, and Bothie.

Geekbench Reveals Moto G6 Features
We've been hearing rumours for some time that Motorola will launch the Moto G6 family at MWC. The devices have already been leaked via various renders and real life images. Now, according to Geekbench, it seems that we've confirmed specification of the Moto G6.

The Moto G6 would feature a Snapdragon 625 (MSM8953) chipset, which contradicts earlier rumors of the G6 featuring Snapdragon 450 (SDM450). Additionally, the device would come with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

According to earlier leaks, G6 would get a 5.7" FHD+ Display. It has a 3000mAh with fast charging, Dual rear cameras of 12+5MP, and front facing fingerprint shooter. The device will ship in five color options including Silver, Gold, White, Blue and Cyan.


Motorola and Lenovo are all set to reveal the Moto G6 family at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, Spain.

Dark Mode confirmed for Android 9.0 P

The last time we updated you on the status of the Google's upcoming Android P, we told you that it will get a refreshed design, support for iPhone X-Like notches and unique display type. Additionally, the first developer preview is near finalized and might hit on March 14 (Pie Day).

Now, According to the latest information, Google is finally adding Dark Mode/ Night Mode to Android 9.0 P.  



When a user asked to embed Dark Mode on OLED Screens with Android 9.0, Google's Android Open Source Project (AOSP) moderators said today "our engineering team has added this feature. Dark Mode / Black displays on OLED Screens vastly improves Battery Life on Android Phones. Please kindly add a Dark Mode or Night Theme in Android 9.0 that we can set under "Settings" in Android 9.0. Currently, only by installing 3rd party apps can we enable this Dark Mode.

Android 8.1 Oreo might bring Project Treble to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro

The recently announced Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with decent specifications at decent price. The device runs on not so latest Android 7.1.2 Nougat with MIUI 9 on the top. However, according to the latest reports, Xiaomi is testing the latest Android 8.1 Oreo on the Note 5 Pro.

Folks at XDA has discovered that the Android 8.1 Oreo might bring Project Treble support to the Redmi Note 5 Pro. The Android 8.1 firmware for the Redmi Note 5 Pro with codename "whyre" contains the line “ro.treble.enabled = true”, which means that Redmi Note 5 Pro will get Project Treble support with the upcoming Android 8.1 Oreo for the.

There's no information on when is Xiaomi going to roll out Android 8.1 Oreo to its Smartphones. However, Xiaomi recently started the development of MIUI 10 which is based on Android Oreo.
