Recently announced Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL comes with an always-on display which can be enabled via Settings. But, Did you know that the Pixel 2 (duo) has a notification light? It does. We don't think it's on by default, but it's a nice addition to the phone's always-on display.

Twitter user Darren Gloster uploaded an image confirming the feature (notification LED) for Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. As you can see in the above image, there's a greenish-blue color LED.

Just like the 2016 Google Pixel(s), you can enable the notification LED by following the below steps:
  • Go to your phone's Settings.
  • Tap on Notifications.
  • Tap on the Gear icon in the top-right corner.
  • Tap on the toggle next to "Pulse notification light".
It could be a multi-color LED, so if you want to test it, you can install Light Flow from Play Store.

Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL Specs: With the regular Pixel 2, you get a 5.0-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage, 12.2MP 1.4 micropixels at f1.8 (OIS/EIS) for the best low-light, zoom and anti-blur photos with enhanced image processing, 8MP front camera, 2700mAh battery, fast wired and wireless charging, IP67 water and dust resistance, and Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Pixel 2 XL isn’t much different, but it does have the bigger and almost bezel-less 6-inch pOLED Quad HD+ display and a bigger 3520mAh battery. The rest is the same.
