Just like the 2016 Google Pixel(s), you can enable the notification LED by following the below steps:
- Go to your phone's Settings.
- Tap on Notifications.
- Tap on the Gear icon in the top-right corner.
- Tap on the toggle next to "Pulse notification light".
It could be a multi-color LED, so if you want to test it, you can install Light Flow from Play Store.
