Motorola begins Android 7.1.1 Nougat soak test on the Moto Z

The last time we updated you on the status of the Moto Z Play Android 7.1.1 Nougat update, we told you that Motorola has already started pushing the update for a few users in Brazil and India.

Now, Motorola has started testing the Android 7.1.1 Nougat on the Standard Moto Z via Soak test. Those who were accepted for the Soak test are starting to receive the update, which is indeed Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The system version is NPL.26.107, for those keeping track.

The Android 7.1.1 update for Motorola devices brings brand new icons for Motorola's system apps, It features the latest June 1, 2017 Android security patch. Motorola also adds Video calling Duo application, Moto Mods v2.0, Stability improvements other interesting features along with Android 7.1.1 Nougat goodies.

Assuming the test rolls out smoothly, those of us not in the test could see the update within a week or two. As we know more, we’ll be sure to pass new info along.

Thanks Leonardo Vinicius!
