OnePlus has already confirmed that the "Flagship Killer" OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T won't be getting any major OS updates after Android Oreo. Additionally, OnePlus has already started testing Oreo for both the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T.
Just a few days back, we reported that the leaked HydrogenOS Firmware based on Android 8.0 Oreo is now available for the OnePlus 3T. This Firmware is for their Chinese customers with Chinese and English language support. The Firmware comes with few Pre-installed Chinese apps and has no Google apps included, but you can download and flash it manually.
As you can see in the below Screenshots, the Hydrogen OS has it's own UI, Quick Setting tiles, Android Market and Icons. It runs on the latest September 2017 Security patch.
Here's another Image showing the latest new Android 8.0 Oreo Emoji. You also get an option for Light and Dark theme, which is quite surprising as the Stock Android Oreo is now having having any theme support. The user also published a YouTube Video showing the whole UI.
That said, you can download the Firmware from XDA, and follow this Guide on How to Install Firmware on OnePlus 3/OnePlus 3T. Stay tuned to our Facebook and Twitter page to get the first News.
