OnePlus 6 Picks Up New Android Pie Open Beta 3

    

OnePlus is now rolling out another Software update to the OnePlus 6 users in the form of OxygenOS Open Beta 3 which is based on Android 9.0 Pie.

With Android 9.0 Pie, you'll get new Swipe Gesture navigation, Rotation suggestion, Adaptive Battery and Adaptive Brightness, Smart replies, App actions, Text selection, Redesigned Quick Setting tiles and Notification Panel, Redesigned Volume Options, Brand new Settings, Privacy, Digital Wellbeings (Dashboard) and Winddown Mode, and more...

    • Added support to launch google assistant or other third party assistant app by holding power button for 0.5 seconds

You'll need to do is flash the Pie Beta firmware on your OnePlus 6. Once you migrate to the Beta path, you will continue to receive Open Beta OTAs. You will NO LONGER receive the regular Official Stable OTAs.
