Phones Emitting Least Radiation (SAR) – Includes Phones from Samsung, Motorola, and more
One of the biggest concerns associated with Smartphones are the harmful effects of radiation on our health. The studies follow, not always with similar conclusions and always without being able to have an affirmative answer.

Just yesterday, we learned which current-day smartphones emits the highest radiation and apart from all the smartphones, on the top of the was the well known Xiaomi's Mi A1 (Android One).

Today, we've a new infographic straight from Statista showing which current-day smartphones emits the least radiation. The list has been published by German Federal Office for Radiation Protection (Bundesamt für Strahlenschutz) which maintains a comprehensive database of smartphones and the level of radiation they emit.
The smartphone creating the lowest level of radiation is the Sony Xperia M5 - with a specific absorption rate of 0.14 watts per kilogram. Samsung handsets also feature prominently, with half of the top ten coming from the South Korean company.

Official Android 8.1 Oreo hits Essential PH-1
Announced back in May 2017, Essential PH-1 is now getting the Official Android 8.1 Oreo through OTA (Over the Air) Software Update.

Android 8.1 comes with new dark and light themes which changes according to wallpaper, Pixel 2 Launcher, Redesigned Power Menu, new Shutdown and Reboot Animation, Round Statusbar Icons, and Settings.

The Essential smartphone features a 5.7-inch QHD edge-to-edge display, not the one seen on Galaxy S8. It is powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. The phone comes with ceramic back and includes USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC. The phone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat. (Now upgradable to Android 8.1 Oreo)

The attraction for the phone is at the back where the magnetic connectors lie. With the help of these magnetic pins, you can connect additional devices. For now, there's a 360-degree camera that has two 12MP lenses. At the back, there are two cameras of 13MP along with an 8MP front-facing camera. The so-called modular 360-degree camera costs $199.

One of the biggest concerns associated with Smartphones are the harmful effects of radiation on our health. The studies follow, not always with similar conclusions and always without being able to have an affirmative answer.

There's no conclusive scientific research yet on the impact of mobile phone radiation, but people who want to weigh up the risk should check out the below infographic.

The list has been published by German Federal Office for Radiation Protection (Bundesamt für Strahlenschutz) which maintains a comprehensive database of smartphones and the level of radiation they emit. The below infographic shows which current-day smartphones emits the highest radiation. However, apart from all the smartphones, the topmost smartphone with the highest emission rate will definately blow your mind, as the top of the list belongs to the well known Xiaomi's Mi A1 (Android One).

Phones Emitting Most Radiation (SAR) – Mi A1 tops
This is the list that nobody wants to lead and that as of now is dominated by the Mi A1, the Chinese-made Smartphone with Google's Android One that was released back in September 2017.

Forbes says "10 out of the top 16 smartphones on the list produced by Chinese manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Huawei, OnePlus and ZTE. Well known American smartphones do appear on the list as well, however, with three versions of the iPhone present." Feel free to share your opinions.
