Motorola One Power Android 9.0 Pie Beta is coming this October

Motorola India just announced the Android One powered Motorola One Power with 6.2-inch FHD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch. It runs Snapdragon 636 and holds 64GB of expandable storage. There's a huge 5,000 mAh battery inside.

According to the latest reports from Beebom, the One Power will be getting its Android Pie Beta this October. The stable update has been scheduled to roll out by the end of the year, One Power users will be able to try out a developer preview starting next month.

Motorola is expected to start the Soak Test (Beta) Registrations for Motorola One users by mid-October.

Samsung is now all set to launch Android 9.0 Pie Beta program for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, but it seems that a XDA already got their hands on with the latest Official Android 9.0 Pie Update for the Galaxy S9 based on Samsung Experience 10.

With Android 9.0 Pie, you'll get new Swipe Gesture navigation, Rotation suggestion, Adaptive Battery and Adaptive Brightness, Smart replies, App actions, Text selection, Redesigned Quick Setting tiles and Notification Panel, Redesigned Volume Options, Brand new Settings, Privacy, Digital Wellbeings (Dashboard) and Winddown Mode,  Samsung has add several new features to the Samsung Experience.

Motorola India confirmed via Teaser that they are indeed going to announce new 2018 Motorola Smartphone on September 24. Motorola will be announcing the Android One Powered Motorola One Power at the event.

Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus Launch in 2019, No G7 Play!

Earlier this month, we saw the hands on images of the Motorola Moto G7 intends to feature a Waterdrop Display. Now, a new report from MySmartPrice, states that Motorola will unveil the new Moto G Smartphones in 2019.

According to them, the Moto G7 series will include the Moto G7 (Standard) and the Moto G7 Plus. There won't be any Moto G7 Play. This year's Moto G6 Play and Moto E5 Plus were nearly identical, maybe that's why Motorola plans to skip the G7 Play in favor of the E6 Plus.

As seen in the earlier leaks, the Moto G7 will have almost zero sized bezels on either sides. Also, the phone would feature a Waterdrop Notch which can be found in Oppo F9 Pro. Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 picking up September Security Update

If you own a Nokia 6 or Nokia 5 you should have received the over-the-air update notification for September 1st, 2018 Android security update. That’s all that is detailed in the new software for both of these phones.

The Software for the Nokia 6 (TA-1021) weighs in at around 104MB, while the Nokia 5 (TA-1053) gets it for 98.7MB.

If you haven't got the notification of this new software update yet, Just go to Settings - About Phone - Software updates, and It will automatically start downloading the latest update. Motorola Moto G5s Plus and Moto G5 Plus owners can expect to see the Android 8.1 Oreo begin its official rollout for their devices in a few days.

Motorola is sending out notifications regarding the availability of Android 8.1 Oreo update to the Moto G5s Plus and Moto G5 Plus users living in Brazil. If you own a G5s Plus or G5 Plus you should have received the notification with an image revealing Motorola's plan.

We've seen the update coming through both the G5 Plus in Brazil (RETBR). Android 8.1 Oreo update includes new Settings and Notification panel UI, Picture in Picture (PIP), Adaptive icons, Autofill, Notification timeout, and other Oreo goodies.

After seeing last month's OnePlus 6T leak that potentially revealed the design of OnePlus's new flagship for 2018, the concept makers have been busy getting their takes ready. Reddit user has come up with an exciting new concept of the OnePlus 6T.

The phone’s fingerprint scanner is placed on the back, more like the OnePlus 6. It has a triple camera setup at the rear. If you take a closer look at the phone’s front, you’ll also notice that it has tiny Waterdrop notch, which stores the front-facing camera and some sensors.

The phone they detail features a 19:9 6.3-inch Full HD+ (2280×1080) AMOLED display, 6/8GB of RAM, Snapdragon 845, and other miscellaneous top tier specs.

Motorola Sending Soak Test Invites for Moto G4 Plus, Could Potentially be Android 8.1 Oreo

With Motorola starting that the Moto G4 Plus is in the list of Smartphones getting Official Oreo, it appears that they're ready to start testing the same. Soak test invites are rolling out to members of the Motorola Feedback Forum who own Moto G4 Plus devices, so this could be it.

Android 8.1 Oreo comes with numerous enhancements over Android 8.0 Oreo, such as new dark and light themes which changes according to wallpaper, Pixel 2 Launcher, Redesigned Power Menu, new Shutdown and Reboot Animation, Round Statusbar Icons, and Setting. Motorola might also add several new features to the latest software update.

I've been using Xiaomi POCO F1 for a couple of days now and have found that it's going to take 675 hours for my device to get Bootloader Unlocked. Searching further about this issue, I found that the Situation is even worse, a few Pocophone users are seeing waiting times as long as 1440 hours.

So if you are planning to purchase the "Developer Friendly" POCO F1, you might face Bootloader Unlock waiting times as long as 2 months.

Wait, MIUI 10 Global is available for the POCO F1, However, you'll need an Unlocked Bootloader in order to test the latest ROM. LOL!
