Pixel Home Button Animation ported to Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P


Google's Pixel and Pixel XL comes with a new navigation bar and even a new home button animation which gets enabled when activating Google assistant. 

When activating Google assistant, Four dots slide out in each respective direction, and then quickly aligning themselves horizontally. 



Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P users can now also enjoy this new Home Button Animation. Thanks to Chromloop, who successfully ported new Pixel animation to Nexus 5X and 6P running Android 7.1.1 (Developer preview).

Night mode could return to Nexus devices


Google might bring back "Night mode" to Nexus Smartphones. The feature was removed earlier after Android 7.0.1 beta update. According to Ian Lake from Google: "Night mode requires driver support that is no present on Nexus devices".



But it seems that Google must have heard Angry Nexus users (As They want the Night mode back) because today someone at Google has marked the issue as "closed" with a status of "FutureRelease".

Google might include the "Night mode" feature in future Beta update for Nexus 6P and 5X.

Google is all set to reveal its 2016 Nexus Pixel Smartphones along with Android 7.1 Nougat. We have already seen multiple leaks and information about Two upcoming Pixel Devices.

According to evleaks, There's is Going be Two HTC-Made Google Smartphones namely HTC S1 and HTC M1. While According to AndroidPolice These Devices will be having Codename: Sailfish for HTC S1 (Pixel) and Marlin for HTC M1 (Pixel XL).

According to Our Concept render, The HTC M1 Codename Marlin is going to be a metal device with a Glass Top. The edges look almost same like that of the HTC 10.



Talking about the front we will get an 8MP front camera, earpiece, and a 5.5" Screen. The Glass Back will be having Dual-LED Flash, 13MP Camer, few sensors and a Fingerprint. The Antenna lines are clearly visible.




It seems that Google might be ditching Nexus Branding on 2016 Pixel Smartphones. Though There's Going to be a "G" logo at the back of Nexus Marlin.

As leaked earlier by AnTuTu, The Pixel XL will be equipped with a Snapdragon 821 SoC, 4GB RAM, and 32GB of storage. 

As far as the cameras are concerned the Device will feature a 13MP main shooter and an 8MP selfie shooter. It will come with Google's latest Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. According to Rumors, 2016 Nexus will be having their own Skin.

There is also said that the Device will be having a 3450mAh battery and USB Type-C charging.

As said earlier, The HTC M1 (Marlin) is going to be a Larger 2016 Google Smartphone and will be priced around 600$.

Today, A 360 degree video has surfaced online leaking Pixel Sailfish (The Smaller 2016 Google smartphone). The Video shows the upcoming smartphone in full glory. 




As far as the specs are concerned, Summing up all the leaks, The Sailfish is rumored to feature a 5-inch display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The Device will probably feature Snapdragon 820 or 821 chipset with a quad-core CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU. 4GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB of external storage. There's going to be a 12MP rear, 8MP selfie shooter. 

The Smartphone will come with Android 7.1 out of the box.

2016 Nexus Smartphones passes through FCC

We have already seen multiple Renders and Real Life Images of HTC made 2016 Google Nexus Smartphones namely HTC M1 ( Marlin ) and HTC S1 ( Sailfish ).


Today, Two New HTC Nexus Smartphones with code names G-2PW2100 and G-2PW4100 just passes through FCC. The listing also points to Google’s Nexus website as the location of the handset manuals. The model numbers for both handsets also start with a "G" using Google’s own font, so it’s pretty clear that these are Nexus phones.

Yesterday, We Just saw a new Real Blurred Image of Nexus Sailfish ( Uploaded by a New Twitter user ) and accordingly The Nexus Sailfish was a cross between the Nexus 4 & iPhone with glass and fingerprint scanner on the back.

Today, AndroidPolice has leaked new set of Images claiming that It's definitely Nexus Sailfish.Though The Images are Well Cropped.



The Nexus Sailfish Almost looks like AndroidPolice's render Image. According to them, Both Marlin and Sailfish will feature same design apart from size and battery, Both will be metal body
