Android 5.0 Lollipop [ AOSP ] Available for Xiaomi Mi2

As far as Google released Sources and All the developers are building Android lollipop 5.0 [ AOSP ] build for their devices . Android open source project Also known as AOSP is now Unofficially  available for Xiaomi Mi2 . In Another words Xiaomi Mi2 users can update their Smartphone with Unofficial Android 5.0 Lollipop Update . 

Xiaomi Mi2 comes with 4.3 inch display , It has 2 Gb of RAM and 16/32 GB ROM . It comes with miui out of the box and Now users can update it to Android 5.0 Lollipop through AOSP rom .

Bugs: 

Making calls using Bluetooth headsets might cause system FC .
CDMA SIM card is not perfectly supported .
Dual system not recommended .

Installation -

Step 1.Download The AOSP ( 5.0 lollipop ) rom from below .

Step 2. Boot to recovery mode 

Step 3. Clear data and cache 

Step 4. Install zip from SD card and select AOSP ( 5.0 lollipop ) zip .

Step 5. Enjoy !

As Motorola Rolled Android 5.0 Lollipop Update for Moto X 2014 US variant and now its Moto G 2nd generation turn to get updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop Update .

US users can get the update via OTA and if you have still not recieved the update You can follow below steps to get Updated To Android 5.0 Lollipop .

Note - This update is for US variant only ( locked ) , Final build will be available via OTA keep checking for more updates .

As yesterday only , Android 5.0 Lollipop for Moto X released for few variants and Now its Moto G 2nd gen turn to get updated finally to Android 5.0 Lollipop . 

 

Recently only I tried to check updates for Moto G ( 2014 ) and Got this result . It means something is coming at very fast speed  , Oh ! Yes its New version of Android That is Android 5.0 Lollipop .
