Now Update Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S4 to Android 5.0 Lollipop Cyanogenmod 12

Finally Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy S4 users can now enjoy Android 5.0 lollipop on their devices . Also the great thing is its Cyanogenmod 12 which will provide pure Android 5.0 Lollipop interface and experience without any bloatware and touchwiz .


Although Samsung is all planned to Update Samsung Galaxy S5 and More flagship devices to Android 5.0 Lollipop in January , but it will be same touchwiz interface so better update now to Android 5.0 Lollipop Cyanogenmod 12 .

Thanks to Shwan5162 ( Xda senior member ) which made it possible to Install Android 5.0 Lollipop on Samsung Galaxy S5 .
Thanks to AntaresOne ( Xda senior member ) which made it possible to Install Android 5.0 Lollipop on Samsung Galaxy S4 too , so both the S series devices got Android Lollipop .

  

 Just follow the below steps to Install on your devices -

How to Install Cyanogenmod 12  on Samsung Galaxy S5 ( klte ) -


 Step 1. Download The CM12 Rom from Below .

 Step 2. Power off your device .

 Step 3. Reboot to recovery mode .

 Step 4. Clear data , Cache and Select Install zip from SD card .

 Step 5. Install CM12 Zip from SD card , wait for sometime and reboot . It will take sometime to boot .

 Enjoy Lollipop on Samsung Galaxy S5 .



How to Install Cyanogenmod 12  on Samsung Galaxy S4 ( I9505 )-


 Step 1. Download The CM12 Rom from Below .

 Step 2. Power off your device .

 Step 3. Reboot to recovery mode .

 Step 4. Clear data , Cache and Select Install zip from SD card .

 Step 5. Install CM12 Zip from SD card , wait for sometime and reboot . It will take sometime to boot .

 Enjoy Lollipop on Samsung Galaxy S4 .

 Also Motorola becomes the first device manufacturer to Provide Android 5.0 Lollipop to Their approx all devices . Even Google Nexus users are waiting for Their Android lollipop update and Moto Users are enjoying them .

1. Your battery must be 50% and above . ( So that download and installation cannot be interrupted due to battery shortage ) .

2. You must be connected to Wifi / 3g in order to get speedy update .

3. You must have 800 mb of Free space on Internal memory .

 As Android 5.0 Lollipop hits the door of Moto G and Moto X ( 2014 ) editions , and Chainfire was all set to Root the devices as soon as the devices updated to Lollipop . Chainfire has almost rooted each and every device and now today he released Root for Moto G and Moto X also .

 The new Chainfire's CF-Auto-Root comes with flashable fastboot modified boot image and that will root your Moto device .


How to Root ( Instructions ) -

Step 1. Download the  CF-Auto-Root-xxx-xxx-xxx.zip from below .

Step 2.Boot into bootloader mode via adb or hardware buttons.

Step 3.Connect your Motorola device to your computer with a USB cable.

Step 4.Unzip the CF-Auto-Root-xxx-xxx-xxx.zip file on your computer.

Step 5.Run the root-windows.bat file.

How to Install Android 5.0 Lollipop Update on Moto G 2nd Generation -




Step 1. Flash RETUAWS_XT1064_4.4.4_KXB21.85-17_cid9_CFC without flashing fsg.mbn (if you're on another firmware, you'll get errors on install process) ( Download Link Below )

Important: Do not flash fsg.mbn or you will have NO SIGNAL after install and need to flash XT1068 fsg.mbn after install to get signal back.

Step 2. Install custom recovery (CWM, TWRP, etc...)

Step 3. Download and install Lollipop_Update.zip via recovery.

Step 4. Wipe cache/data.

Step 5. If you doesn't get any error at install process, reboot and wait... (it's around 5 minutes first startup)
