Cyanogenmod 11 For Motorola Moto G 2014

And finally Moto G 2nd generation users can Install Cyanogenmod 11 Android 4.4.4 on their Smartphone . Hence Cyanogenmod 12 is also available for Moto G 2014 , But Cm11 is a best rom ever for Kitkat lovers and Cyanogenmod 11 has plenty of Themes and support as compared to Cyanogenmod 12 .

Moto G 2014 comes with 4.4.4 Kitkat out of the box and Cyanogenmod 11 is of same Android version , but Cyanogenmod 11 is a great rom .

Step 1.Download The rom + Fix Zip from below  -

Note - You must have install Custom recovery to flash the rom , if you haven't Installed it yet follow the below guide -

 How To Install Official TWRP ( Touch Recovery ) On Moto G 2014 [ Lollipop Compatible ]

Step 2.Copy the rom to your external sd

Step 3.Boot into recovery mode 

Step 4.wipe davlik cache,data ( If you are coming from lollipop format system also )

Step 5.Select Install zip from Sdcard and select cm11 zip

Step 6.Install Gapps

MoKee OS For Motorola Moto G 2014

So , Now Many roms will be coming for Motorola Moto G 2014 as Moto G 2nd Gen users have got a successful bug free Cyanogenmod 12 build and All the new roms will be based on it only .

Mokee Os is based on Google AOSP , its same as Cm , Omni , Pac roms . The difference is Mokee Os comes with some new and advance features . You can Download and Install it now on Moto G 2nd Generation on all variants . MoKee Os is based on Android Lollipop 5.0.2 .

Step 1. Download MoKee OS rom from Below .

Step 2. Boot To TWRP recovery mode by Pressing Volume Down + Power button > After that press Volume Down > Volume Up .


Step 3. Wipe your Data and Cache

Moto G 2nd Gen Spotted running on Android 5.1 Lollipop

Few hours ago only Android one launched in Indonesia with Android 5.1 Lollipop . It was the first device running Android 5.1 Lollipop .

But Android One is not the only device running on Android 5.1 Lollipop , Our Follower mailed us an image of Android 5.1 Lollipop running on Moto G 2014 ( 2nd Generation ) .



The build seems to be of 2nd Feb and may be Motorola is still testing it .

How to Enable WhatsApp Calling feature

WhatsApp introduced new Calling feature in a new update 2.11.508 and its available for few users only . Also WhatsApp seems copying the technique of Google Inbox .  It means If you want WhatsApp Calling feature , You need an Invite from others who have this feature already .

How to Enable WhatsApp Calling feature - 



Note -  You must be rooted to enable this feature .



Step 1. Download Latest WhatsApp Application for Android from - Here

Step 2. Update your WhatsApp by Installing the above Downloaded latest WhatsApp application .

Step 3. Open Root Explorer or Es file Explorer and Go to 

        Data > Data > com.whatsapp > shared_prefs > com.whatsapp_preferences.xml

Step 4. Edit the above file and Add these two lines after <map> -

<boolean name="call" value="true" />

<string name="call_allowed">all</string>

Step 5. Now save the file and Go to Settings > Apps and Force Stop WhatsApp .

Step 6. Open your WhatsApp now ... and its done :D
