Motorola has already started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat software update for the Moto X Force and the Moto X Style. The Moto X Style is exactly a carbon copy of Moto X Pure Edition with minor differences. According to the latest report, Motorola will begin rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat Software update for the Moto X Pure Edition (North American Variant) pretty soon. But there's no estimated time provided by them.
“We’re in final field testing and North America is preparing for carrier approvals.” A Moto spokesperson told Talk Android. Finally, there' some good news for the owners of Moto X PE as they have been waiting for the update since ages now. Motorola might release the Nougat update very soon. So, wait for that.
A month ago, we saw a presentation video allegedly confirming the specs of the Moto X4 and now, popular tipster, Evan Blass on Venturebeat claims that the phone is coming to Project Fi Later this Year.
Additionally, Motorola and Lenovo plans to launch the Moto X4 in the fourth quarter at a mid-tier price. Moto X4 will be the first non-Nexus-or-Pixel-branded handset to offer Fi-compatibility. If you recall, Motorola released three generations of the Moto X- the Moto X, Moto X2, and the Moto X Style, which was the third generation. And, it's no wonder that Motorola is looking to resume the product portfolio by launching the Moto X4. The Moto X4 will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD glass layered with 3D glass on top. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 660 chipset along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device will sport dual camera at the back, metal body, and a 3800mAh battery.
