Moto G5S Plus Specifications, Renders leaked ahead of launch

Moto G5S Plus Specifications, press shot leaked ahead of launch
A leaked product roadmap of Motorola some weeks ago revealed that Motorola is working on two relatively new smartphones- Moto G5s and Moto G5s Plus. At first, it seemed like a fake news because Motorola recently announced the Moto G5 and G5 Plus and why did it want to launch successors in such a short time.

But this is Motorola under Lenovo, not Google. The first Marketing renders of the Moto G5S Plus are out, and the device looks similar to the original Moto G5 from the front. From the rear though, the device resembles the Motorola Moto M which was released last year.

The Moto dimple is coming back and is placed below the rear 12MP dual-camera module. The smartphone will be entirely made of metal, unlike the plastic edges are seen on the Moto G5. It will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 with 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal storage. The front-facing selfie shooter will feature 8 megapixels sensor.

The Moto G5s will boast a 5.2-inch Full HD display, while the Moto G5s Plus will have a 5.5-inch display with dual cameras at the back. Motorola plans to launch both the devices along with the Moto Z2 Force at July 25th event.

Moto G4 Play is Getting New Update, No It's not Nougat!
Just a few days ago we reported that the selected Moto G4 Play devices on Motorola Feedback Network (MFN) are receiving Android 7.1.1 Nougat update.

However, Motorola is now pushing a new software update for the Moto G4 Play in India with Build no. MPIS24.241-2.47-14 and it weighs in at around 30MB. Note that the device still remains on Android Marshmallow.

The update only contains May 2017 security patch, and it doesn't bring any new features whatsoever. While this update would have been more exciting if it had brought Nougat 7.1.1, which is already available for few Moto devices.

The update is already rolling out to the users of  Moto G4 Play in India and Brazil. If you did not receive the update wait for few days or try checking for it manually by heading over to system updates section in the Settings app. Make sure you've at least 50 percent juice left on your phone before updating it.
