Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to have S8-like Fingerprint Reader Placement, to cost €999, launch set for September
[Article: 24 June, 2017]Samsung's newest smartphones, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ are the best smartphones ever in terms of design. While the Galaxy S9 is away for a year, the focus is shifted towards the middle smartphone Galaxy Note 8, which is also said to feature the same design language as S8 and S8+.

In latest leaks, it’s reported that the Note 8 will contain horizontal dual rear cameras to the back, each of which features a 12-megapixel sensor and independent optical image stabilization for the lens. The fingerprint sensor will be placed next to the camera, just like the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

Reportedly, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will feature a 6.3-inch edge-to-edge display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio, Exynos 8895 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipsets, depending on the market coupled with 6GB RAM.

To the software side, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be having an improved split-screen multitasking, S Pen with enhanced features such as full-sentence language translation and currency conversion, and the ability to pin handwritten notes to the always-on display.

That said, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be coming with a 3300mAh battery and will be announced in second half of September in black, blue, and gold color options.

[Update: 13 July, 2017] According to the latest reports, Samsung might announce the Galaxy Note 8 on August 23rd.

Four Tips On How To Make The Perfect Company Brochure

Four Tips On How To Make The Perfect Company Brochure
Brochures are a great medium to get information about your product or services out into the wider community to persuade potential buyers to part with their hard-earned cash. From designing the layout, to generating engaging copy – there are many elements required. Sounds like a lot to take in, right?

Here are four quick and simple tips, to help you create successful brochures for your organization. The tips below can be used across a number of markets, so whether you sell toiletries, condos or gardening supplies, there will be something you can take away.

1. Remember the all-important acronym – AIDA

AIDA is one of those business marketing buzzwords that you’ll love to hate, but it’s actually useful to think about. AIDA stands for: Attention, Interest, Desire and Action. This means your brochure needs to be colorful enough to grab attention; filled with engaging content to be interesting; contain desirable products that your customer needs; and numerous ways for them to buy – or act. Once you’ve got these four points nailed down, your brochure will be much more effective.

2. Punchy headlines generate more sales

The average attention span of any reader is around 5-seconds. They’ll spend this time by glancing at the front of your brochure and flicking through a few pages. If they don’t see something that they like straight away then you have lost them.

That’s why punchy headlines are a must. They draw the reader in – engaging them straight away. ‘Revolutionary Bar Stools’ might well be a bit of an overstatement, but it reads much better than ‘Bar Stools Available in Lots of Different Colors’. Capture their imagination straight away and they’ll be more inclined to read.

3. Ensure your brochure looks professional

If there is one quick way to ruin the reputation of your business, it’s a shoddy-looking brochure. With a free professional style brochure creator, you will not produce anything sub-par. With this software, you ensure that your final product looks, feels and appears to meet the expectations your customers are hoping for.

The paper you use is almost as important as how it looks. If your brochure feels cheap, customers might associate your products to be cheap as well. Thick glossy paper is generally a good call when creating a brochure, as it’s a durable, yet professional looking material. This means that your final product will last longer, which means more people will potentially read it.

4. Selling should be your main priority

Ever heard the phrase ‘sell, don’t tell’? Well, if you haven’t, it essentially means that your brochure should focus on selling an item, as opposed to just describing what the item is. Take the two short descriptions:
  • Our green chair comes with two arm-rests and is foldable.
  • Our chairs, with a neutral green finish, fit perfectly in any garden environment, and can be folded neatly away in the cold winter months.
The first simply describes the product and what it does, while the second not only describes, but sells the advantages of the chairs – it’s crucially important when developing a brochure to always have sales at the forefront of your mind.

Motorola's latest #hellomotoworld invite confirms shatterproof Moto Z2 Force announcement

Motorola has sent out media invites for the event to be held on July 25th at 11:00 a.m. ET (8:30 PM IST) in New York City, but it did not states which smartphone they are going to launch. Motorola has a knack of teasing smartphones ahead of their official launch, and they are doing the same this time as well.

The Invite states "get ready to shatter your expectations", and perhaps this is a reference to the upcoming Shatterproof Moto Z2 Force.

Motorola is due to launch five smartphones including the Moto G5s series, Moto X (2017), the Moto Z2 and Moto Z2 Force. That said, the upcoming smartphone may be one from the Moto Z2 lineup.

Maybe Motorola is looking to announce the Moto Gs series, or it maybe the Moto X (2017). That said, nothing is known for now from the company, and just a few days to go for the Official announcement of these devices.

This is what Google's 2017 Pixel XL will look like in Very Silver

This is what Google's 2017 Pixel XL will probably look like in Very Silver
Earlier today, we saw our first potential look of what the 2017 Google Pixel XL will look like. Now Benjamin Geskin (@VenyaGeskin1) has created another concept render of this device in Very Silver color.

The render do looks stunning and is on par with previous leaked renders. As you can see in the below render the device is having similar rear design as the current Pixel phones with a two-tone glass and metal finish, though the glass window is located near the top and no longer encloses the fingerprint scanner. On the bottom, a Google “G” is present, but it is unknown if that will remain on the final design.

According to the leaked information, the device will feature a 6-inch LG-made AMOLED display with a 2:1 ratio. Additionally, the Google Pixel XL 2017 might feature a squeezy side, just like we have seen on the HTC U11, which will allow you to interact with the phone, primarily when using Google Assistant.

Earlier rumors says that the Pixel XL device "taimen" will feature a 5.99-inch display (tiny bezels) with a 1440p OLED panel provided by LG, Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Do share your initial thoughts on the design below.
