OnePlus 9R receives a crucial update with Bitmoji AOD and much more


OnePlus 9R an enhanced version of the OnePlus 8T is getting a new software update with the latest July 2021 security patch. The update brings one of the most required features, i.e Bitmoji Always-On display and other AOD features in the Ambient Display.

The smartphone is exclusively available in India and China only. The update has also optimized third-party apps' overheating control management and in some of the scenarios, the Quick Reply feature is also enhanced. This is the latest security rather than an old patch which we've seen in the OnePlus 7/7T series update.

The personal Bitmoji feature which updates throughout the day according to the activity and things happening around you has given a new life to the Ambient Display. The update has also fixed some of the known issues and also added an option to showcase screenshots in the AOD.

The update started rolling out today and will reach all users in a few upcoming days. You will receive the prompt to download if you're on a stable version or else you can manually sideload the incremental OTA which can only be applied to the 11.2.3.3 version or if you're on the older version you have to sideload full OTA zip to enjoy the latest release.

Oxygen OS 11 Open Beta 2 for OnePlus 6/6T is now available


OnePlus has started rolling out Open beta 2 for the OnePlus 6/6T with a major camera fix where users are unable to save the captured images and much more. The update is only available for users who are enrolled/installed beta versions of OxyegnOS.

The update has also optimized third-party apps' overheating control management and improved the stability of the system and also fixed the known issues which are present in the previous update.

Oneplus 6/6T is quite popular as they were the first smartphone to feature a notch display on a OnePlus smartphone. The users who use a 5G Wi-Fi may also see a significant change as the update enhanced the connectivity of that.

The update started rolling out to users who already have the first beta installed on their smartphones. You will receive the prompt to download if you're already on a beta version or else you can manually download the OTA from the link given below and install it from the system update section in the Settings. The update weighs 427MB and before installing please confirm to at least have 30% or more power on your phone.

RedmiBook 15 India Launch date & Specs Confirmed



Redmi is all set to enter the Indian Laptop industry by launching their first official laptop in India the RedmiBook 15. Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi has announced that they will be launching a new laptop range in India very soon.

Now coming to RedmiBook 15 specification it will have a 15.6inch FullHD display, powered by an i3 or i5 11th Gen processor, 8GB RAM, and it will come with a 256/512GB SSD internal storage. The RedmiBook 15 will have Windows 10 pre-installed.

The RedmiBook 15 can have an HD camera, dual-band Wifi, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, 2W speakers and the RedmiBook 15 laptop will also have 65W charging support with all the other basic ports that a laptop has. Currently, only a few details about the laptop have been disclosed yet.

The pricing will be the major deciding factor for the average Indian customer to whether buy this laptop or not, considering a few sources the RedmiBook 15 laptop will be under 50,000Rs although anything is still not confirmed yet and the only color option that is disclosed by the company is Charcoal Grey.
