[OTA] How to update Moto G 2nd Gen XT1068 to Official  Marshmallow -

Note - This will only work on XT1068 1GB Indian Moto G2 !

Step 1. Download the OTA update zip from below

Step 2. Reboot your Smartphone .

Step 3. Go to Settings > About Phone > System updates .

Step 4. You will get a Notification of  " New System update available " .

Step 5. Select " I'm In " and download the update and Install it .

Or

Step 1. Download the OTA update zip from below

Step 2. Boot to Stock Recovery mode

Step 3. Go to apply update from Sdcard

Step 4. Select The zip .

Step 5. Install it .

Finally Your Moto G 2nd Gen is updated to official Marshmallow .

Xiaomi Mi 4 started getting Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update

Finally after the rollout for Xiaomi Mi Note , Company has started rolling out Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for Mi 4 .



Mi 4 was launched back in 2014 with 4.4.3 Kitkat Os out of the box . The Smartphone also received 5.1.1 in 2015 and Now Mi 4 is ready for Marshmallow update .

Step 3. Copy "system.img" to the directory where you have already Installed Remix Os 2.0 .

Step 4. Now Restart your Computer and Boot Remix Os 2.0 .

Step 5. You will find SuperSU installed on your Remix Os 2.0 .

Step 6. Just Open SuperSU App and You will get a dialogue Box - "The Su Binary Needs to be Updated . Continue ? " Select Continue and then Select Normal and then Reboot !
