ZUK Z1 vs Moto G4 Plus : Which one you should choose !

Motorola has finally unveiled most awaited device i.e Moto G 4th Generation and The Moto G4 Plus in India . Moto G4 Plus will be available now !

In This Post we will be doing a comparison between The ZUK Z1 ( which will be available for sale on 19th May ) and Moto G4 Plus( Which is available now ) . 

Both the devices are amazon exclusive , But which one should you choose ? Here's the Answer -

Display -

The Motorola Moto G 4th Generation comes with a 5.5 inch FHD Display while ZUK Z1 also comes with a 5.5 inch FHD IPS Display .

Both ZUK Z1 and Moto G4 Plus has 401PPI pixel density .

Both are same in respect to Display !

Software -

The ZUK Z1 comes with Cynaogen OS which is based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop . You can customize everything you want in Cyanogen OS . It supports themes , toggle buttons editing , status bar editing and more . Also Lollipop is one of the stable Android OS .

The Moto G4 Plus comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow , which is based on Pure Android Version with few Moto Apps pre-installed . Android 6.0.1 is the latest Operating system for now .

Performance -

And with minimum bloat comes smooth performance , both the devices comes with pure Android Versions . Apart from OS , 

The ZUK Z1 comes with Snapdragon 801 Processor which is clocked at 2.5 Ghz with 3GB RAM and 64GB ROM .

While Moto G4 Plus features an Octa core , Snapdragon 617 Processor clocked at 1.5 GHz . Moto G4 Plus comes with two variants , A 16GB with 2GB RAM and 32GB with 3GB RAM .

Camera -

Lenovo ZUK Z1 comes with 13MP Rear Camera with OIS and Sony Exmor RS stack sensor , while it has a 8MP Front-facing camera which is just amazing .

Moto G4 Plus comes with 16MP Rear Camera with Auto laser focus , while it has a 5MP front camera . As mentioned in the event Moto G4 Plus camera is even better than iPhone 6 Plus .

Battery -

Lenovo ZUK Z1 packs in a 4100mAh battery , which gets full charged within 2.5 hours  .

Moto G4 Plus comes with 3000 mAh battery , which gives 6 hours of power in 15 mins of charging .

Other -

• Both ZUK Z1 and Moto G4 Plus has fingerprint sensor , Moto G4 and ZUK Z1 both supports 5 fingerprints  .

• Both the device supports dual sim cards , ZUK Z1 doesn't support external storage while Moto G4 Plus is expandable upto 128 GB via Sd card .

• ZUK Z1 is priced at 13,499 for ( 3GB / 32GB ) and Moto G4 Plus is priced at 13,499 for ( 2GB/16GB ) and 14,499 for ( 3GB / 32GB ) .

• Moto G4 Plus comes with new Moto Display which enables us to do many creative actions to open apps .

Update :- This is our first look at Moto G4 Plus 

Motorola will be launching Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus Today at IST 3PM , but there seems to be that we haven't to wait that much longer for getting our first look at the Retail Box .

Here we have Moto G4 Plus Retail Box , which shows new box design with new moto logo . The device comes with 5.5 inch FHD Display , Octacore processor , 2GB RAM and 32GB Storage .

Today , Google revealed a new app called Spaces which that lets people get people together instantly to share around any topic .



With Spaces one can find and share articles, videos and images without leaving the app, As it has built in Google Search, YouTube, and Chrome .

YU forced us not to buy their Smartphones again !

Micromax's sub-brand Yu Televentures is all set to launch "YU Yunicorn" on 19th May and I am pretty much sure , many of us will not buy YU smartphones again !



YU Yureka was a great hit and after that Smartphone only Micromax's YU became popular in India . The first impression of the Smartphone was amazing but we were not fully aware of the Smartphone at that time ! 

Though One cannot judge a Smartphone and a company in a single day or two ! But , Now YU has forced many of us not to buy their Smartphones .

1. One of the worst after sales service -

Buying a smartphone is more than just about picking up a phone you liked and making a purchase. A phone may look good on paper, but there's more to a phone than just the paper specs. After-sales is something equally important, if not more.

And Yes ! YU has one of the worst after sales service . I own a Page of Micromax Yureka which was made to help Yureka users , but I was wrong ! When the Company can't support their customers then Who Am I ?

And why we need After sales service ? Because YU Products are made of cheap quality ! 

2. No Android Updates -

I think Google is all set to reveal Android N on 18th May ? Isn't it ? And YU users are still waiting for Marshmallow on their Smartphones ? 

The company has launched only few devices and they can't even handle software updates for these devices even !

Though I understand Marshmallow is a big update , But can't you even provide a patch for the bugs that were present in Android 5.1.1 ?
