CopyCat Malware has Infected 14 Million Android Smartphones Across the Globe
CopyCat Malware is a new virus spreading to Android smartphones across the globe. According to a security firm Checkpoint, the malware has already spread to nearly 14 million Android devices, more than half of which are found in Asia. And nearly 4.9 million devices have fraudulent applications installed, while owners of 3.8 million devices have to deal with the advertisements served by the malware.

The CopyCat Malware is an auto ad-clicking malware, which automatically clicks ads when you're on the infected app. That said, they have managed to earn around $1.5 million in ad revenue.

Hackers are capable of rooting the device, serving fraudulent advertisements, installing fraudulent applications, and stealing app installation credits. The CheckPoint firm says that installing the apps directly from the Google Play Store should prevent the device from being infected.

So, to stay secured and away from these apps, check out the reviews for the app and game before downloading it. And if you find a bad review, then ignore the app.

Moto G5S Plus Specifications, Renders leaked ahead of launch

Moto G5S Plus Specifications, press shot leaked ahead of launch
A leaked product roadmap of Motorola some weeks ago revealed that Motorola is working on two relatively new smartphones- Moto G5s and Moto G5s Plus. At first, it seemed like a fake news because Motorola recently announced the Moto G5 and G5 Plus and why did it want to launch successors in such a short time.

But this is Motorola under Lenovo, not Google. The first Marketing renders of the Moto G5S Plus are out, and the device looks similar to the original Moto G5 from the front. From the rear though, the device resembles the Motorola Moto M which was released last year.

The Moto dimple is coming back and is placed below the rear 12MP dual-camera module. The smartphone will be entirely made of metal, unlike the plastic edges are seen on the Moto G5. It will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 with 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal storage. The front-facing selfie shooter will feature 8 megapixels sensor.

The Moto G5s will boast a 5.2-inch Full HD display, while the Moto G5s Plus will have a 5.5-inch display with dual cameras at the back. Motorola plans to launch both the devices along with the Moto Z2 Force at July 25th event.
