Manufacturers have already started implementing high-level technology into their mobile devices. One of them for Security purpose is the Iris-Scanner. Recently patent filings hint that Motorola is working on a new Smartphone which will feature Iris Scanner. According to the patent, the Iris Scanner system would rely on two narrow-angle lenses for capturing the individual eyes of the user.
We already know that the 2017 Moto Z will follow the same design as of the First generation Moto Z and will be compatible with all existing Moto Mods. Though, Motorola could implement Iris-Scanner to the 2017 Motorola's flagship Smartphone to make it more secure.
The patent does shows a Smartphone with front facing fingerprint sensor and an Iris-Scanner technology. We’ll see soon enough whether or not this will actually make its way into the Moto Z 2017. What are your thoughts?
In a most unusual way, several users who have purchased the Nokia 6 via the first flash sale in China are complaining a weird problem in social media. People are posting the image of the Nokia 6 complaining that the text in the logo of the Nokia 6 is fading away showing the white background, which is very annoying.
As you can see in the image above, the black text in the Nokia is completely faded away in the N and O letters, whereas the other letters are completely fine.
We have no clue about why this is happening with the several users, and it might be a defect in the hardware build quality itself. That said, there's no reply from HMD Global regarding this issue, but we are expecting the company to respond very soon. We will keep you posted if we receive any update from the company officially.
Last year, Google gave us the first two Pixel Smartphones i.e. Pixel with 5" Display and Pixel XL with 5.5" Display, with some extra Artificial intelligence in the form of the fledgling Google Assistant. Both Google Pixel and Pixel XL were great devices but things like waterproofing were left out because of an "internal conflict between hardware (namely, camera) and/or waterproofing vs. price point".
Now Stephen Hall a senior editor for 9To5 Google has tweeted that waterproofing feature is "definitely coming with next Pixel Smartphones".
Little tidbit we were told in October last year that I forgot about: “Waterproofing definitely coming with next Pixel device.”
