Android Security Engineer says Google's Pixel is as Secure as the iPhone

Android Security Engineer says Google's Pixel is as Secure as the iPhone

Most of the people consider Apple's iPhone (iOS) much more secure than Android. But Google’s director of security at Android, Adrian Ludwig, wants mobile users to know that the Pixel and the iPhone are security equals.

At the O'Reilly Security Conference in New York City on Tuesday, Ludwig told Motherboard, “for sure,” there’s no doubt that a Google Pixel and an iPhone are pretty much equal when it comes to security.

He added, "Android, will soon be better though".

For now what makes Apple more secure is Apple’s quick patching and strict App Store regulations. While on the other hand, What makes Android unsafe is Installing applications from 3rd party application store (to get apps for free), The same increases the risk of installing pirated and non-secure apps.

Girl buys a house by selling out 20 iPhones given by her 20 boyfriends

Girl buys a house by selling out 20 iPhones given by her 20 boyfriends

It's all started with a Chinese women who convinced her 20 boyfriends (Yes 20, IDK how she made so many) that she had been dating to buy her the recently launched iPhone 7.

She then sold all the 20 iPhone 7 at Chinese mobile phone recycling site "Hui Shou Bao" for around $17,500. She used that money as a downpayment for a house.

The Girl broke the news of "How she bought this home" infront of her co-workers during a house welcoming party. One of the co-worker then shared the same on Chinese social media. This story seems legit as the Mobile phone recycling site has confirmed that it had indeed sold 20 iPhones from a single person recently.

We are quite sure: the girl not only broke her 20 boyfriend's heart, but also broke the whole Internet after this story went viral and had been shared more than 13 million times on Chinese Social media.

Motorola set to introduce its new "Connect Coin" wearable

Last year, Motorola Mobility sold its accessories division to Binatone Global. All the team, brand rights and future product roadmaps moved to Binatone shortly after. Since then, we've got a couple devices like the VerveLife range and the MotoHint+ from them.

Now they are ready to introduce the follow up to 2014's KeyLink, called the Connect Coin. The new Coin wearable device features Bluetooth 4.0, a one year long replaceable battery, a GPS tracker which will help you locate your car, keys or even your smartphone. And it comes in a variety of colors!

This Coin is also a multimedia remote, allowing you to control your smartphone's camera to take selfies or your playlists. But one of the coolest features is its ability to send SOS alerts to others if you are in danger. Just by pressing the smart buttons and others will know your location. The Motorola Coin can be set up from the Connect Coin app, available here.

The device will go on sale very soon in Asia and the rest of the world will follow by the end of the year.
