Also, the image confirms the dual edge display, which was rumored for a long time and it is now confirmed that Samsung will launch the phone with dual edge display. 

Samsung will announce the details related to Galaxy S8 launch at the MWC 2017 event in Barcelona, Spain. Rumors say that the phone will be unveiled on March 29 and will go on sale later in April.

HMD Global could bring Nokia 6 and Nokia 3310 to India by May

HMD Global (Finnish company that develops mobile devices under the "Nokia" brand name) could bring the 2017 Nokia 3310, which is expected to be announced on February 26 at MWC, and the Nokia 6, which was announced earlier this year, in India.

According to a report by Indianexpress, HMD Global will launch the Nokia 6 and the Nokia 3310 in India as early as May. 



The report also claims that the Nokia 3310 will have completely revamped design "it’s oval shaped now". The new Nokia 3310 will arrive in multiple colours and will be priced around Rs 3000 ($44).

The Nokia 6 features a 5.5" 1080p screen with Gorilla Glass, classic Nokia design and an impressive audio quality. The phone comes with an aluminum unibody and runs on a Snapdragon 430 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. Its camera should follow the Nokia trend and impress everyone. It's 16MP with an 8MP front shooter.

WhatsApp Revamps Status Feature; Becomes a Replica to Snap Stories




Facebook wants to make all their platforms on a same note. After introducing the Instagram Stories, the company is now back with the same feature for WhatsApp as well. 

After eight long years, WhatsApp is revamping the 'Status' feature which functions same as the Instagram and Snap Stories feature. Now, there will be a new Status tab in the home screen itself and every user can post the photos and videos as their status, which will disappear after 24 hours. 

There's isn't much to speak about the feature. WhatsApp on their blog stated that the feature will be rolling out in India starting today and will reach all the users by the end of this month. 

Next Iteration of Android Will be Called as Android 'Oreo', Hints a Google Executive



Google will be announcing the next iteration of Android at the Google I/O Keynote event in May. However, the new OS will be available only in the form of Developer Preview till the official launch in September/October. 

Nevertheless, the search giant might have started on the features to be included in the next OS, but the internet is already abuzzed with the name of the OS. Keeping on the trend, Hiroshi Lockheimer, the Senior VP of Android tweeted a GIF of an Oreo Cake. However, Hiroshi was proved to be wrong in numerous occasions in the past. 
That said, if Google sticks to their timing as previous years, we will see the name of name of next Android iteration in the first week of March.

Motorola is back to Pakistan with the new trademark "Lenovo Moto", targeting the high-end smartphone market this time. The company has introduced three Moto-Mods along with the Moto Z and the Moto Z Play.



The  Moto Z is the world's thinnest phone at 5.2mm, comes with a 13MP camera, 4GB of RAM, the snapdragon 820 CPU, and a 5.5" QHD screen.

As leaked earlier, HMD Global (Finnish company that develops mobile devices under the "Nokia" brand name) is expected to announce its next Android-Powered Nokia Smartphones namely the Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 this year on February 26 at MWC in Barcelona.



Now, Jingdong (JD.com) which is exclusively selling Nokia 6 in China has listed another Nokia Smartphone "Nokia 8" for Pre-sale with a price tag of 3,188 Yuan ($463).





Note that the listing shows concept render by YouTuber "concept creator", so this might not be the final design of the Nokia 8.

Earlier rumor reveals that the Nokia 8 could be Company's first high-end Android Smartphone with Snapdragon 835 processor. It is expected to feature a 5.7" QHD resolution, 24MP rear camera with OIS, and super EIS, a 12MP front facing camera, 64GB Internal storage, 6GB RAM and Android 7.0 Nougat.

The latest teaser from LG claims that the G6 will feature dual 13MP cameras at the back with a 125-degree field of view, as well as a front-facing shooter which will offer a 100-degree field of view.



According to previous leaks, LG is expected to release the LG G6 at the MWC 2017 and it will go on sale from March 9, but the US users have to wait till April 7 to get their hands on the device and the reason is still unknown. 

LG is opting for the older Snapdragon 821 SoC to power the G6, due to some production issues between Samsung and others. However, it is also said that the LG G6 will feature a glass and metallic back, USB Type-C port, 5.7-inch wide display, etc.

HTC is expected to unveil its budget-segment One X10 smartphone at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. 

This device was first leaked out in January, Now we have new photos that purportedly show the front and rear of the HTC One X10, courtesy of a post on Weibo.

According to rumors, the HTC One X10 will feature a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 display, 16.3-megapixel rear and 7.9-megapixel front cameras, an octa-core MediaTek MT6755V/C processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.
