Android 7.1.1 Nougat is now Available for Pixel/ Pixel XL, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, Nexus Player and Pixel C | Download the OTA, Factory Images here!


Android 7.1.1 Nougat is finally available for Supported Nexus Smartphones, Pixel C and Google Pixel and Pixel XL.

The latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat firmware comes with December Security patch and bugs fixes. Verizon has already provided a changelog of this update for Pixel Phones.



The new Android 7.1.1 Developer has build NMF26O for Pixel and Pixel XL, NMF26F for Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X and NPF26H for the Pixel C, NMF26J for Nexus Player , and Nexus 9 has NMF26F

Verizon to release new updates for Pixel and Pixel XL Today with Build NMF26O


As tipped earlier by Rogers that the Android 7.1.1 update would go live for Pixel, Pixel XL and Nexus 6P on December 5. Well, It seems that the Canadian operator was right about roll-out date, at least about Pixels. 

According to Verizon, Pixel and Pixel XL users can expect an new update today with a build no. NMF26O. The update will probably feature December Security patch, bunch of fixes and improvements. We still don't know whether the update is an incremental update from 7.1 to 7.1.1 or not.

This update fixes these issues:
  • Customers couldn't retrieve their Visual Voicemail messages and were getting an error 9999 in some areas.
  • Voicemail icon notification was not displaying when a new voicemail message was received.
  • Device stopped playing voicemail messages over Bluetooth® after the screen timed out.
  • Device occasionally went to blue screen during an inbound call.
  • Email font was too small.
  • Text was garbled on the call screen/dialer and the text was corrupted on the Recent Calls and contact list screens.
This update improves:
  • You can now choose Cellular or Wi-Fi as your preferred way of calling while roaming internationally.
  • Latest Android™ security patches.

Lenovo to announce ZUK Edge on December 7, Here's another Image of same

We have already seen Multiple leaked Real-life images, Renders and Specs of the unannounced Lenovo ZUK Edge. After being certified by TENAA a month ago, there's nothing left to speak about the device.



Looking at the leaked Images, ZUK Edge won't be much of an Edge. No doubt, The device looks beautiful in the below image. Zuk Z2151 aka Zuk Edge sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display.

Powered by the latest Snapdragon 821, ZUK Edge will probably be one of the most affordable SD821 device with a Price tag of CNY 2,699 ($390). Other specs includes a 4GB/6GB of RAM, Android 7.0 Nougat with ZUI on the top, 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. 

As posted by CEO Chang Cheng on Social Platform Weibo, the ZUK Edge will be announced on December 7 at 3:00 pm.

CyanogenMod is back with more nightlies for a number of other Android devices including Moto X Pure edition, Nexus 5, LG G Pad 7 LTE, Nextbit Robin and two Oppo smartphones.

Most of the old Smartphones will probably not be getting Google's latest Android 7.0 Nougat Officially and there comes CyanogenMod, which is one of the best custom-rom available right now.

While this is already an exciting list of devices that already got CyanogenMod 14.1 nightlies, the developers are planning to bring Android 7.1 Nougat to more smartphones.

Motorola will release at least 12 new Moto Mods per year



Motorola's Moto Z was one of the most innovative Smartphone of the year 2016. Being modular, Moto Z is designed to accommodate add-on modules that snap to the back of their cases.

According to a new report from Cnet, Motorola is planning to produce at least 12 new Moto Mod add-ons per year. Lenovo will launch an Indiegogo campaign come January to drum up more developer involvement.


"Our goal is to get more Mods out this year than we did last year, no question," said John Touvannas, Lenovo's Moto Mods director.
