Motorola will release at least 12 new Moto Mods per year

Motorola's Moto Z was one of the most innovative Smartphone of the year 2016. Being modular, Moto Z is designed to accommodate add-on modules that snap to the back of their cases.

From a Simple Style Case to a Pico Projector, Moto Mods can be attached to the back of Moto Z, Moto Z force or Moto Z Play via magnetic pins.

Recently Motorola released two new Moto Mods (Check them out here) and also announced to bring a Project tango and a 5G modem Moto Mod.

According to a new report from Cnet, Motorola is planning to produce at least 12 new Moto Mod add-ons per year. Lenovo will launch an Indiegogo campaign come January to drum up more developer involvement.

"Our goal is to get more Mods out this year than we did last year, no question," said John Touvannas, Lenovo's Moto Mods director.

These are some rumored Moto Mods, which might become a reality in 2017-
