2017 is going to be a great year for Nokia lovers, As the Finnish Company is finally going to make a comeback in Smartphone industry with two new Android Smartphones.
Rumors says that the Nokia-branded Android Smartphones could have 5-inch and 5.5-inch variants,The same will be named as Nokia D1C.
It's no secret that the 2017 Nokia-branded Smartphones will run Android, but we have no idea whether Nokia will cover the top with a Custom UI (like Samsung's Touchwiz, MIUI etc.) or not.
In a recent interview, CEO Arto Nummela told Reuters that HMD (A Finnish company that develops mobile devices under the "Nokia" brand name) has done a partnership of some sort with Google. The same also says that-
"HMD is building its smartphone operating system in partnership with Google."
What does it mean? It can be possible that HMD has reached Google for input on the software front.
In another interview, CEO Arto Nummela told Bloomberg-
"We will be extremely true to the Nokia brand, The Nokia brand is known for simplicity, ease of use, reliability and quality. These are the elements that we will deliver together with amazing industrial design."
Indirectly Nummela is saying that upcoming Nokia-branded smartphones will very likely run a largely bloat-free version of Android, just like Motorola Moto Phones.
